Dog toys aren't meant to be destroyed!
I always hear people wanting toys that their dog can't destroy. In my opinion dog toys are meant to be destroyed. They will shred them, they pick apart the threads they pull out the stuffing and sometimes all they want is that satisfying squeaker. If you think about it, that's their natural instinct. Toys aren't meant to last forever for dogs. So next time you're out and think "my dog will rip that apart in minutes" maybe that's what they need. Don't go for the $20 indestructible toys. Get the cheap one. They won't know the difference. Just give them what they need.

Marvin! Congratulations!
When I met Marvin I knew he would go far! His mom is a retired groomer and dog handler. With all her experience and a little help from me, she was able to perfect the heel walk and focus she desired.

She told me she was skeptical of the methods I used at first but soon saw how well he responded to them. I love seeing proud pet parents. She will be joining Bazzy in August for the CGC program and I'm so excited! 👏🎓

Bazzys goal is to be a therapy dog for children. She has been working on her heel walking and staying calm and focused when other people are around. They will be completing the CGC program in August. Everyone loves her. Just look at that cute face. ❤️👏

Moffee, Loki and Dandy all graduated from their fundamental class this week. So so proud of how far they've come.

Every dog learns at a different pace no matter how old. All these pups have shown improvement big or small. Congratulations all! 🎊

If you know me, you know I LOVE Corgis. This is Loki. He likes to jump on people, needs some help with leash walking and is a little nippy. Expected behavior from a young herding dog. We are on week 3 and he's already learned so much. So excited to watch this guy grow ♥️

Please be patient with your dog. They usually don't understand what they are doing wrong. Show them what you would like them to do instead and stay consistent. I know we get frustrated sometimes, just take a deep breath and evaluate what you could be doing instead to help the situation.

Yelling at your dog, repeating commands, yanking on the leash, hitting them or locking them up is not going to solve anything. Dogs don't communicate the same way we do. Learn how your dog communicates. Then, you can identify the issues and work on solving them. I promise, your dog is not out to get you or does things to spite you. Usually there is an underlying issue. They are bored, overstimulated, they dont have the right motivation, stressed, anxious, scared, too many distractions, not getting enough exercise and some things could very well be health related.

Please just be patient with them. They are only here for part of our lives but we are around for all of theirs. ❤️
