Judy is in her happy place! Cuddling with a loved one. She's the sweetest little six month old kitten with the most beautiful golden eyes, and Judy loves attention, affection, and feeling close to the ones she loves. She is the nicest little cat and she gets along well with everyone! Judy is hoping to be a loving and loyal companion for someone special, and she's available for adoption on our website.

Friends, we were just asked to help the sweetest little litter of feist mix pups that was unwanted in Mississippi, and of course we said yes! Clover is one of them, a five week old brindle pup who's just as sweet as she is adorable. We expect her to be medium size when fully grown, maybe 35 to 40 pounds, and she's a happy little girl who's eating like a champ! Clover's going to need at least a few more weeks in foster care before she's ready to come to New England, and that gives us time to get her spayed, get her shots, and make sure she's perfectly healthy. We're hoping to have a loving family waiting for her, and she's available for adoption on our website!

It's so hard for us to say no when we're asked to help a dog or cat, but when all of our foster homes are full we have no other option. As a foster home based rescued the number of animals we can help depends entirely upon the number of foster homes we have. Please consider opening your home and heart to a dog, cat, or small animal in need! We have a special need for female only foster homes, and foster homes with no other animals in the household. Our sweet, shy Penelope is looking for a special home, with a gentle person who is going to go slow with her. You see, Penelope is very, very shy and it's taking her a while to relax and feel comfortable with her foster family. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body! But it's clear that she hasn't been treated well and needs someone who's are going to give her the time in space she needs to relax. She's a gorgeous silver gray Yorkie mix, around eight years old and tiny at just 7 pounds. Penelope does just fine with other dogs, and she's not a candidate for a home with small children or lots of action. She will thrive in a quiet home with a compassionate person! Friends, we have sad news today. Our little Chico has passed away after a long battle with heart disease. He came to us almost 2 years ago, a cranky old man with a bad ticker. He's had the best of care in a loving foster home, and lived far longer than any of us expected he would. We're confident that the best days of Chico's life with the ones that he spent in rescue! We're so grateful to his foster family for the kindness that they showed to this special boy, and we send our love and condolences.

This one is worth sharing! Don't underestimate the ability of a coyote to get where they want to go, and make sure to always, always supervise your pets outside.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!

Just a reminder for those that think their small dogs or cats are safe in their backyard (even during the day).
Right now is coyote mating season, then comes pup season in the spring. Coyotes will be more aggressive, and will be teaching the pups how to hunt. Keep your pets safe, they're depending on you. 🐾. Thanks Charla for this.

Peekaboo has the cutest underbite! And her personality is so special. She's around nine years old, a Chihuahua mix who came to us as an owner surrender, and she's a little shy when she meets someone new but once she settles in she becomes the sweetest, friendliest dog in the world. Peekaboo is just great with other dogs and with cats, and she's lovable, cuddly, and a perfect companion. Her dream is to find a best friend to give her love and loyalty to, and she's available for adoption on our website.

Sure, kittens are cute, but a full grown cat is a better choice for many of us. Snickers is around two years old and a sweet and well mannered girl who gets along with everyone. She's lived with children, other cats, and dogs, and gets along well with all! She's a healthy, happy girl, and a great companion, and she's available for adoption on our website.

Puppy people! Denver Dan is a fluffy little poodle mix, around 12 weeks old, and he's just as sweet as he is adorable. Denver loves to play! He's sweet, silly, healthy, and full of love. We expect him to be medium to large when fully grown, maybe 50 pounds or so, and he's looking for a family to grow up and grow old with. Denver is available for adoption on our website!

We have the sweetest bunny in foster care right now! Her name is Sassy, she's around five years old and tiny at just 4 pounds. She's a dwarf rabbit who is free roaming, and a happy little girl who loves to feel part of a family. Sassy is spayed, healthy, cuddly, and she gets along well with other animals. We're only going to adopt her to a home where she will be kept indoors as an indoor pet and allowed to roam freely. She has a crate that she loves to relax in when she chooses to do so, but spends most of her time with her foster family. Rabbits are wonderful pets and Sassy is no exception! She's available for adoption on our website.

This very good boy is Jingle, a handsome and healthy two-year-old beagle who came to us from life outside in a cage. He's getting used to living inside and being part of a family, and loves the attention and affection he's getting! Jingle is very loving and sweet with grown-ups, but not so much a fan of young children. His foster mom is working hard to teach him leash skills and to take treats gently. He gets along well with other playful, friendly dogs, and he's smart, responsive to training, and he loves to have fun. Jingle is looking for a family to teach him the skills he needs to blossom into the awesome dog in we know he has the potential to be, and he's available for adoption on our website.

Adoption update! Alumni Luna just had a spa day and is thriving in her second chance home. Her mom says that she's a bouncy, happy, loving girl who has changed their lives for the better! We love seeing the smile on Luna's face and how happy and healthy she is.

Misha came to us when her life was upended because her beloved dad needed to move to an assisted living. She's seven years old, a little shy when she meets someone new, but once she relaxes she becomes a lovable and affectionate girl who loves to be close to her person. Misha had the benefit of wonderful care for the first seven years of her life! We've committed to finding her a family who's going to restore stability and give her the life she deserves. Misha is staying with our friends at Pet Supplies Plus - Narragansett, RI and would love for someone special to give her a home. She is available for adoption on our website!
