These 10.5 week old female rough collie pups are soooo chill! We had a car appointment this afternoon and brought them inside. After not getting too far with eating Oliver’s math…they just laid down to nap. Quality Alignment and Brake Center in Valley City, ND, ROCKS!!!
Here’s a new one—. Our “pup”pet show camel was a hit with the kids!
Here are the photos from our collie flowerbeds! Getting these pups ready to head to their new homes—-
Liberty enjoying motherhood! Pups are 3 weeks and 4 days old. Just starting to crawl out of their space.
Oliver working on some training with the collies—- we have a few extra dogs right now as their families are traveling this summer. We really enjoy having the pups we raise come back to the farm on occasion so we can see how they are turning out and to help when we can. The cats are funny… always underfoot!
Cookie teaches “the Collie zoomies”
This here is Cookie—-we raised her but she lives with her family in MN. She is Lucy’s sister back visiting the farm over the 4th of July. She loves the pups!
Pups are 6 weeks—- time to start potty training and working that doggy door! Watch Lucy help them to go in and out.
Lucy’s loves are 4 weeks today…. MC is handing out pets. They are getting bigger!
Just over 3 weeks and can climb out!
Look who’s here! Lucy is doing an excellent job as a new mamma! Pups born May 21, 2023
Looking for more trees to tap—. Stella just doesn’t want to go through all that snow!
Tapping the trees! Our season will be very short this year—only 10 days…. But hopefully enough time to get maple syrup for the year!
Oliver recruited the dogs for his Silver Maple tree tapping! Stella is really not sure about going through all that snow!
When playing in a blizzard, the dogs are right there for the fun! It’s amazing how they just know to keep watch…each with a different post. Still day 1 of this blizzard.
Most of the posts are in the summer/fall…so here is an April one. (No, this is not April Fools…just another blizzard starting, our shelter belt is pretty amazing when the wind is the right direction.)
Meet “Happy Dakota Gold”. We have had so many blizzards this winter/spring that Oliver thought we better get a sled harness—just in case. Here Happy gives a ride to Faith.
Puppies are 5 weeks and starting on potty training!
Oliver is changing out the blanket—. Look at those little tails wagging! 3 weeks 6 days.
Favorite part about puppies this week is the snuggles and puppy kisses!
They are getting bigger and almost able to get out of the pool—. So we got creative! Stella now nurses standing up. 3 weeks 4 days
