Are you an animal loving, trustworthy, motivated, hard-working person? We are hiring for animal care/kennel technician position. It's part time with variable hours, around 15-20 week. Must be available some weekends and some holidays. Pay is $8.50/hour. Daily duties include, but not limited to feeding the animals, cleaning dog kennels, cleaning cat cages/litter boxes, doing laundry, daily cleaning and maintenance of the shelter, and working with potential adopters. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD. Please apply in person at the shelter during open hours (Monday and Wednesday4pm-7pm) and (Tuesday and Saturday 12pm-4pm.

We need help!

We are running dangerously low on non-clumping cat litter, Purina one chicken and rice dog food, and blankets for our furry friends!

As far as blankets go we love couch throws, fluffy blankets, knitted blankets, etc. We cannot use comforters because of the stuffing, flat sheets because they don't hold temperature well, or electrical blankets because of the wires.

SHEP is hoping his shiny coat and captivating eyes catch your attention 💚 He is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who has a lot going for him 💚 He is fun-loving and hopeful he will find a family who likes to play ball as much as he does 🐾 He enjoys cuddles and grooming, and he is great in a crate 💚 Shep could go to a home with other dogs, cats, or kiddos after a meet and greet here at the shelter 💚 Shep can be a little shy at first, but he is sure to be a loving and loyal companion for the lucky person who gives him a chance 💚
