😻️ Fiona & Binx are safe‼️
Fiona & Binx went missing on Jan 10th. Their mom (Alisa) followed all tips we provided and Binx followed the trail of worn clothing (with mom's scent) into a door that was left slightly open. No litter outside, and surveilled traps are only set when there is a sighting. Fiona was still out there on the coldest days, and then snow. Her mom feared the worst. Teddy put cameras and feeding stations at points of interest, and we waited for Fiona to appear. Almost 2 weeks passed without a single sighting. Never give up! A cat in survival mode will keep themselves very well hidden. Finally, Fiona appeared 🙌 at 2 feeding stations within 2 days and we were ready to act. Teddy set a trap, waited nearby for hours and she didn't show early but returned around 5:30 pm (1/27) and Fiona went in ! Fiona & Binx are together and safe with their mom 🩷💜.
We'd like to thank Teddy Henn & Charmaine.

🐕🐾 The Shiba Inu is safe❗️On Wednesday, we received a call about a Shiba Inu in Cold Spring Harbor. Lauren went to help search and worked alongside Animal Control and local volunteers to help find and secure the dog. Shiba was very smart, fast and skittish and even though she took treats from our hands several times, we were unable to secure her. That is when we knew she would need to be trapped.

A food station and dog bed were set up on a nearby covered porch to keep her in the area. Shiba was on the move all day Thursday as well. There were many hair raising moments when Shiba ran down Woodbury Road, narrowly escaping being hit by cars several times. Lauren kept tabs on Shiba’s location with the help of volunteers Julia and Mike, while waiting for Teddy to arrive with the trap.

Teddy and Lauren located Shiba on a nearby estate and Teddy, along with Winston, attempted to secure her with the snare. She got very close but was spooked off. She eventually made her way back to the home with the food station and Teddy quickly set up the trap and caught her. Shiba is now safe!

We would like to thank Julia, Lauren, Teddy and Winston for not giving up on this challenging mission. Our heartfelt thanks go out to helpers Mike (who drove all the way from Brooklyn), John, Jen, Jude, Jan, Christian, David and especially Cathy, Julia, Christina and Bonnie. It takes a village! Please consider making a donation to our organization so we can continue our rescue efforts. Let’s keep saving them!

🫧 Bubbles is safe 🫧
Bubbles went missing on 12/25 while his mom was out of the country ... and disappeared. He was never outside before and his family was so worried. Teddy was called to help only 2 days ago, and he went to set a feeding station with surveillance. The owner's mom told Teddy she saw him, and he ran. Teddy set a trap and at 4:00 am today ... Bubbles is safe from the cold. Welcome home Bubbles 🫧

🐕 Hudson is safe‼️
🐾 He got loose 7 am from his sitter. She was doing all she could to find him. Karla Lisa raced there to assist. Neighbors and Hudson's friends were out searching. The sightings had him running in a very busy roadway. Charmaine arrived to help as reports came in that Hudson ran back and forth across Jericho Trpke to East Deer Park Ave numerous times, cars going 60 mph. Hair-raising to say the least 😱
🐕 All sightings halted. His family was away and monitoring (reporting) his air tag which stopped reporting locations. There was a long delay, almost 2 hours. Air tags do not work without Bluetooth connection and wouldn't detect anything if Hudson was in woods. We stayed in a specific area we thought he may be resting in ... after running non-stop for 7 hours.
🐾 A man (Keorn) from Prianti Farms that spotted him earlier now had eyes on Hudson and was a great help. We situated the sitter with her dog Meika (Hudson's good doggie friend) blocking a gap in the stockade fence that had a chainlink behind it. Charmaine and Karla ran to the other (Prianti Nursery) side, where there was a cement wall that Hudson had jumped over earlier and he was now in a small area, with space between the 2 fences right behind him. He was scared and curled up hiding. We went over the wall and slowly walked through thorns/brush pushing him to go closer to Meika ... where the sitter was ready with a leash (slip lead), still blocking that gap. He eventually moved away from Charmaine, closer to his friend Meika. He was so scared but so happy when he relized it was his friend 🐕🐾
💜 Special thanks to Karla Lisa Missing Angels - Long Island, Pritanti Nursery/ Keorn, Suffolk County PD, Huntington Public Safety/Shelter and the community for reporting sightings & of course Meika 💜 🐕

🐕 Daisy is safe !! She went missing from her home yesterday morning at 7am and was last spotted on the corner of 25A and Mill River Road at 8am yesterday. We spoke with the owner last night and gave her all the usual tips and made a flyer.
🐾Today, Lauren went to help search for Daisy, driving around, hanging flyers and walked the perimeter of St. Dominic’s sports fields as well as a local horse farm. Police called and were keeping a watch out for this little one. Her family was so upset as their little girl was crying, wouldn't sleep without her dog. Daisy was finally found hiding on the porch behind bushes near an outbuilding on the St. Dominic’s sports field. Special thanks to Lauren Rene, the Muttontown police for their assistance, Amanda, Eve, Luis and the rest of the crew at the barn. It takes a village! Let’s keep saving them!

💚🐕‍🦺💚Shadows update💚🐕‍🦺💚

We recieved a call that Shadow was missing and requesting our help. Feeding stations, cameras and scent articles were already placed. Shadow was seen in the woods but not at the feeding stations. A storm was coming in and Teddy set his alarm for 5:00 a.m. to rush to Staten Island to attempt to get a quickly deployable box trap set and catch him before the storm..
Shadow was caught in the same box trap one month earlier when he got loose for 11 days from the adoption event. There was a chance he might go in it again. Teddy was on his way in the early morning he recieved a call that Shadow was seen and now on the other side of Hyland blvd and ran into a new area..
Serena parked her car on the side of Hyalan blvd with her hazards on to watch if he popped out so she he can stop traffic. Teddy arrived and set the trap in those woods then scouted the surrounding area and quickly found his prints and leash marks on the Beach heading west. Dawn Hart Crutchly his former foster arrived with her beautiful dog Sophie who Shadow loves, as attempts to get ahead of him were tried but Shadow ran down the beach crossing over rock(Boulders) jetties and was already a mile down the beach where we found his prints exiting the beach.
The storm arrived and now the desperate search was in the rain. Flyers were being put up in the new area when Serina (owner) seen Shadow but would not come to her. Shadow was heard repeatedly crying and wanted help but was scared. Scent articles and food were placed and attempts to get him to come out all night long.
Next morning storm had passed and feeding stations and trap where deployed in the woods but no showing of Shadow all day. Late at night 12:30 Shadow appeared coming out of the thick woods and was sniffing and playing, taking the owners scent articles (worn socks, shirt, and pajamas) Directly across the street from that location Lisa Arnica also seen him in her driveway and gave us permission to set up there and placed food..
Teddy woke up before sunrise the next day & arrived with the custom kennal trap and set up on her property. Late afternoon shadow showed up at the box trap on a trail, very interested in the food inside of it but would not go in realizing it was the same trap he was once trapped in. Patience and attempts were made to divert traffic from the area (cars and foot traffic) Late that night Shadow came out of the woods and stole Serina's scent articles again. Hours later he appeared in Lisa's yard carrying Serinas shirt and found the kennal trap. Nail biting as we were watching her with live video she went in the trap and was caught ❣️
Special thank you to Antoinette Cavalotti who searched and helped around the clock with Serina (owner) and Teddy.. also Elizabeth Del Priore, Lisa Arnica, Dawn Hart Crutchley and Sophie, Olivia Jane and of course Serina and her entire family and all the people in the community who helped print and hang flyers and searched for Shadow💚💚💚

🐯 Phoenix, missing since Christmas (17 days), has been safely trapped! He escaped the carrier, and took off running as his family was headed home from Christmas Eve festivities. Samantha (mom) got very close when she saw him in the corner of a neighbor's yard but as she closed in, he slipped through a hole in the fence, vanished. Phoenix was already in survival / flight mode, hiding well. When we got there to help, family & friends were lined up to help hang flyers and look for sightings. Samantha & Elie were not going home without Phoenix, so they stayed right there. They followed all tips/steps, leaving door open approx 24 inches, trail owner's scent articles into the house and to a feeding station with surveillance. Mom & Dad sat (not moving) for hours in the freezing cold on the front steps (no eye contact), waiting and waiting. Always remembering to lure, don't chase. Finally, Phoenix was spotted on Jan 2nd. He was following his Mom and Dad's scent items into the front door, only to be scared off by a big neighborhood tomcat. Another foot and he would have been inside the house. Phoenix was able to grab a bite of food ... so we started trapping process. Relieved he was alive, but frustrated he was not yet inside. He was so scared and family was heartbroken. The weather did not cooperate, days of pouring rain and 60 mile winds with flooding. This morning, Phoenix popped out !!! Once again he followed, sniffing those scent articles, and walked into the trap!!! Welcome home Phoenix 🐯 Special thanks to Teddy Henn, Charmaine DeRosa and Lauren Rene

💚💚 We have an amazing feel good story to start the new year. 💚💚
Nine month old (now 15 months) Peggy is safe after 6 months & 10 days of pure determination ‼️
She came to the USA for a better life, and escaped her owner who within a few weeks had given up on her, wanted nothing more to do with her. We were called by Meredith, a fellow trapper, who needed assistance up in Briarcliff Manor, Westchester. Once Teddy got up there he befriended the community of Briar Cliff, asking people to call in sightings, hang fliers and put food and water out. Peggy was running a 6 mile radius back and forth daily. Anytime a trap was set up, whether it be a box trap, Missy Trap or kennel trap, Peggy would see the trap and take off 3 miles in another direction. Teddy drove 🛣️ 2 hours each way, at least 4 times a week, to set up cameras📸, feeding stations, and to map out her travel pattern. If you know Teddy Henn, he never gives up on a dog he's working on. Matt from Gatekeeper K9 came down with his custom made drop trap 2 times, and once again, Peggy left the area….
Finally, we were able to get a bit of consistency with Father Kevin's home and Jon Scott's home. She felt more comfortable at Jon's home and he was all for helping Peggy. Jon and Teddy devised a plan and talked nightly, making sure Peggy was fed every night. Jon would put kibble and cook 🥩steaks for her as well. For the longest time we tried to get her into a yard or gate and she would not go in an open door to Jon's house or his fenced yard. Peggy would spot any trap or enclosure and left the area. At this point we knew the only choice was to use the collarum trap. The collarum trap is a K9 specific humane trap that does not hurt the animal. It took a lot of conditioning for Peggy to go in a precise way before it was set. Finally, last night Peggy was successfully trapped and is now safe‼️‼️
Special thanks to Jon Scott for his daily unwavering dedication❗️❗️❗️
We'd like to thank fellow trappers Meridith, Rocco Arturo who assisted and Matt from Gatekeeper K9, Father Kevin, Kaitlyn Yeager, Michelle Candy, Laura, Diana Austin, Melissa, Peter Chapman, Heat-Seeking Drones service, as well as the whole Briar Cliff Community that helped. Your garbage cans are safe tonight ! 😂🤣
Peggy is at the vet being treated, getting cleaned up, hundreds of ticks being removed❗️
Peggy is exhausted running from coyotes, fox & skunks 🦨.
Tonight she has a full belly, medical care, bath, and a warm place to rest her head❤️
Peggy had no family help us with expenses, please any donation is greatly appreciated ❣️

🐾 Zeus, missing since 12/12, running from Douglaston to New Hyde Park to Floral Park has been safely trapped. Teddy & Charmaine went to search 12/18 with Zeus' owners to a reported sighting. Owners hung flyers, and made sure the whole community knew about Zeus. Boots on the ground and knocking on doors, checking yards all day. Yesterday, we received a call that a family had Zeus on their Ring camera. Teddy immediately set a feeding station and at 1:30am Zeus showed up on camera. Teddy woke in the middle of the night, headed back to Floral Park, set the trap and waited all night for Zeus to return. Zeus, we suspect was hit by a car and not using one leg, limping and suspected he was hurt. Teddy returned this morning set the trap with Charmaine and Debbie Gully. We monitored trap all day today and tonight Zeus was trapped. Debbie Gully came to help hang flyers and brought hot chicken. Zeus is now at the emergency vet getting medical attention. We'd like to thank the community for staying alert and calling in the sightings and everyone that helped. 🐾 Special thanks to Teddy Henn, Lynn Fodale, Charmaine DeRosa, Debbie Gully, Karla Lisa - amazing teamwork on this !

💜 River from Smithtown is safe! We got a call from his family asking for help. As they were moving out of their home, one of their cats ran into the ceiling rafters in basement storage area. He wouldn't come back out. 😢 Moving towards him, shining lights or reaching would only push him back further into an unknown area. Teddy & Charmaine made a plan for trapping considering so many variables ... when a contractor came unexpectedly, moving shelves and made noise that made the cat extremely fearful ... moving him further away from sight and deeper into the ceiling & walls. When River showed himself on camera at 3 am, it was such a relief! He still wouldn't go all the way in the trap. Next night- We put worn socks of his favorite person along the outside of the trap and at around 1:30 am this morning ... he sniffed his owner's socks, and went in! 💜

💜 Shadow missing 10 days was safely trapped tonight. He was at an adoption event when the foster tripped and fell. Shadow took off dragging his leash, got clipped by a car and disappeared. No sightings for a week! The wonderful community members of Staten Island searched day and night. Finally there was a sighting in someone's back yard in the middle of the night. Olivia Jane from Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue then got him on camera in the woods at a feeding station. Teddy Henn packed up at 4:30 am, went there to set up additional cameras and a trap. The storm rolled in about 2 o'clock and had to stop for the day. Next day was another early rise at 4:30 am, Teddy went back to Staten Island to reset the trap with fresh food and wait. No sightings of Shadow all day until about 8:30 pm when he showed up and went into the trap !!! Shadow appears to be fine but going to the vet hospital to be checked out. Welcome home Shadow 💜

💜 Max of Levittown, missing since Tuesday (4 days) is safe. After falling from a second story window, his Mom and Dad were devastated not knowing if he was injured from the fall, or worse. They reached out to us, we went over appropriate tips for them to follow, considering their specific circumstances and since Max was in survival mode. We explained it was not likely he would make himself known so easily or recognize their family right away. Charmaine went on Friday to set a feeding station and Max appeared on camera the same evening 💙 His family was over the moon happy to know their boy was alive, however worried with a major storm coming. Teddy Henn and Charmaine worked out next steps, set a trap according to plan 🙏 and Max went in !! Bringing the trap in with Max safe inside, watching him sniff his mom, start to recognize her, a great sight to see. Welcome home Max 😻

💙 Blue from Hauppauge has been safely trapped. He escaped and had been missing since Friday. His family was so worried and called yesterday for help. He had never been outside before, in survival mode, not responding to owners or behaving like he would in the house ... and started to get colder. They followed all advice provided which was key. Teamwork brought him home. We'd like to thank the Hauppauge/Smithtown community for calling in sightings right away, watching their surveillance and NOT approaching the cat. 💙

Let's keep saving them !
