Willow went for a hike today. Willow is 2 years old and lost her human parent and came to the shelter. At first she was very defensive and unsure of what happened. She lost everything! She is now a happy girl. She's smart and sensitive with high energy. We feel like she's the type of dog that would really bond to a human. That's why she isn't doing well in the shelter setting. She loved exploring her surroundings on the hike and is ready to do another soon.

Chip came to us from animal control, so we don't know his past but we are looking for his future. We are looking for a home that will let him grow on his time. He is a red heeler hound mix around 1 years old. He likes to play with other dogs too.

Ways to help your lost pet get home ASAP. It's important to keep identification on your pets. Update their microchip information and here are some simple ways of old-school ID. Please don't wait. Update today!
Take current pictures of your pets and post on the lost and found pages the day they go missing, not days later. The goal is to get them home fast.

The Shelter Kids had their Christmas Party today. They had yummy hamburger/elk patties, toys, cats got a real Christmas tree, lots of pets and more. Thank you to everyone who donated to their Christmas they had a blast 🎄 🌟🐾🐶❤️😺💕🎄

Round Valley Animal Rescue Shelter will be Closed, December 24th-25th-26th to celebrate the Christmas Holiday. Thank you for everyone's support and care to the shelter pets in the RVAR Shelter. We care for them 24/7, 365 days a year as our own kids. Each one has their own story and own needs.

Thank you to everyone who has donated their Time, goods to the RVAR Thrift Store, pet food, toys, beds, blankets and so much more to the shelter kids. Without you, they couldn't be spoiled like they should. Thank you!!🌟❤️🐶🐾😺

This sister-brother duo are trusting people each day, learning to play and gain more confidence. These little heelers are around 10 months old. You can visit them at the shelter Wednesday-Saturday 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm.
