Even when not expected of me by Pet Owner, I always look for the extras I can do for them/their pet to make things tidy & clean. Sometimes a pets' water or food bowl are slimy or gross but I'll spend the time to get them clean & refill them. Also I always sweep up the cat litter wherever it has tracked in the house. That task can sometimes put me over my time limit for what i'm paid for but I will do it regardless. Often I cannot locate a broom and dust pan at the home. So in my car, I always have a little portable set that I can always use.
This new client was so surprised by my extras that she tipped me $21 🫶‼️ I definitely feel doubly blessed because she wrote that raving review for me also.

Were you aware that cats are used in animal-testing? Beagle Freedom Project rescues all sorts of animals from testing labs. There is a new cat litter that donates a portion of sales and product to BFP animals.

Sometimes cat sitting requires administering medication/supplements to cats. I'm always thankful when the cat LIKES what it needs to take 👍.

15 yr old Prudy put 2 front paws on my leg and let me massage her head & ears. She must have put it out of her mind that within 10 minutes I'd be squirting foul-tasting medicine in her mouth 😾

Introducing 6 yr old MOOSE, the cat 😺, the more shy of the two.
Moose is very easy-going and with me, does not demand my attention. When I arrive he may meet me in the kitchen where he swirls around my feet or I may have to call 'BREAKFAST' to him when I'm serving a mouth-watering 'Lickables'.
He'll allow me to administer a few head/ear rubs.
After eating he does not hang out with us in the living room area but will either wander out into the great room or disappear to a bedroom. I especially enjoy when he'll interact with the toys, which is not often.

Marley is an in-your-face big fluffy boy whose gestures for your attention to what's important to him in the moment, are abundantly clear.
He has met me right inside the door after entering inside, as if he telepathically knew I would be arriving whole other times he comes running out from some room. He certainly makes you feel welcomed & wanted.
While scooping the 'Lickables' into bowls, Marley may be on the table trying to do a taste test or he may jump up on the counter to do the same if I move the bowls there. He may be meowing through this process, possibly to hurry it up.
After eating, he immediately goes into living room, jumps up on coffee table to stare at the jar of treats he's expecting me to open immediately (or else!).
He will give you his paw for a treat. He will 'work' for treats when when they are placed in different toy tunnels or on cat tree.
He will play with toys on strings or small stuffed toy mice. He LOVES ear & head rubs.
He's one of the most interactive cats I've spent time with and always look forward to visiting.
