We have received so many messages regarding this lovable lab!!
Yes—this is the same wild and crazy energetic boy in both sets of photos!
He is just fine and is NOT injured - he just did not want to get his photo taken by law enforcement in the first set of photos and he was much more cooperative once he was behind bars- which is why we take a lot of our first photos of a stray behind bars. 🤣🤣He has been reunited with his human! All is well!

SERENA UPDATE!
The family who has her came forward and I had a long phone conversation with them. They are great people and also just wants what's best for her. They said they would keep in touch and let us know if there are any issues. I thanked them for being good people and giving me peace of mind. I told them that I want to cover her vet visit to get her up to date on things and make sure she has a fresh start in good health.
It was so simple of an act on their part but to me it was immeasurable ❤

Rescued Pets Are Wonderful is looking for the new hoomans that bailed out this pup from a local pound recently. Rpaw cared for this girl once upon a time and has a ton of medical info that they would like to share with her new family and their veterinarian - along with other important info that will make her transition to a new home successful. What do we do during hunting season to keep our pets safe??

Be smart by wearing BLAZE ORANGE when out walking in wooded areas or open fields. This goes for ALL Adults, Children, Dogs,Horses and other pets that walk with you. PUT A BELL on your pet’s collar, harness or vest so they will be heard.
DONT leave dogs outside unattended .
If your dog tends to wander or is gun shy -put them on a leash at potty /play time for their own safety.
Only YOU can keep your pet safe!

Important info from the owner:
“He’s an akc great pyr. He is 2 as of July 9. He is good with kids, we have 7 that range from 14-18 months. He may accidentally knock little ones down but no aggression. No food aggression, he lets me clip his nails. He’s good in all ways except he’s bored. We had planned on getting goats and sheep but plans have changed because of the economy and we can’t afford to put up a barn like we had planned. So now he has no job. He has had all his shots, he’s due for his boosters now.

I have 2 other dogs which he is good with, he has never really been around other dogs. On the occasion he has escaped our enclosure he has had no aggression and has been grabbed by other humans walking dogs and they have said no aggression. Just excited puppy behavior as to play.

He just doesn’t have a job, we don’t have time to keep him occupied enough to stay out of trouble.”
