🇺🇸 Join us this Veterans Day! 🇺🇸

This special event is for veterans only, as we come together to honor those who have served our country.

Paws of War is proud to partner with Texas Roadhouse – Deer Park, Long Island Cares, General Needs, and the Suffolk County Veterans Service Agency to show our appreciation for our local heroes.

Veterans can enjoy food, free vaccinations for their dogs (by appointment), Texas Roadhouse dinner vouchers, and more!

To schedule an animal vaccination appointment, please email [email protected].
Valid military or veteran ID is required.

Let’s celebrate and support the brave men & women, and their loyal companions, who have given so much for us all. ❤️

Today, on National First Responders Day, we honor and thank the brave men and women who answer the call to serve every day.

At Paws of War, we are privileged to support these heroes with service and support dogs who provide comfort, strength, and healing when it’s needed most.

To all first responders: thank you for your courage, compassion, and sacrifice.

Old Country Animal Clinic is one of my local favorites and the BEST choice for exotics!! Another very important specialty area. We do not learn exotics in Vet School in depth to practice as such - lets leave that for the Certified Pros!

2025 is OCAC’s 30 year anniversary!

You can learn so much from a Home Euthanasia service website…

- Does the bio contain a significant background , training, certification(s) in this line of work?

- Hidden fees on Home Euthanasia sites often display a company’s agenda… Does it state convenience or behavioral euthanasia fees?

- Do they partner with a Corporate or Mom & Pop crematory? (I care so deeply about my patients, even after!)

Research is important. This is the most delicate of medical procedures…

**Honored to be the Only Certified Hospice Vet and Only Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Vet on Long Island who leaves appointments for terminally ill and poor quality-of-life cases and does not book more than 5 days in advance in order to time this more adequately. **
