Archie WANTS OUT! He is not thriving here. 😞

Archie is an older, Male, German Shepherd that would love a home of his own. He’s good with other dogs, cats and kids!

He’s very smart and people oriented. He wants to be with you all the time!

He would make a great family dog.

Poor JoJo just can’t catch a break.. 😞

Unfortunately, he was returned for the second time. 😭

Jojo is a 2 year old Pomsky. Pomeranian x Husky. He’s about 50 pounds, and is normally fully coated. He was shaved a few months ago.

Jojo’s personality favors the husky side. He can be stubborn and dramatic. But he’s very people oriented and wants all your attention. He suffers from separation anxiety, and does not do well left in a crate. Someone who can give him the proper time, exercise and training would be perfect.

Jojo does not like other dogs, but is fine with children. He doesn’t have much experience with cats.

He’s potty trained, as well.

First time I have seen a fabulous promo like this. We love love love taking our furbabies out with us, but please always be mindful of their paws and and be sure to bring a travel water bowl if you do take them with you. Maybe just get them a really cool present and leave them home on the really hot days 🤷🏻‍♀️🥰🐕‍🦺

We love our furry friends, but warn that the pavement gets excessively hot during the Art Fair. We encourage you to leave them home and bring them a special treat from the fair, such as a new ceramic dish, to show them your love! 🥰

For those that do bring pets, we encourage covering their paws with booties and stopping for lots of water breaks!

Don’t forget that we love the kitties too! Smokey and Mama get 2 visits a day when their family has other plans. Love these two! They aren’t too happy that I didn’t let them out in the heat a couple days this week between visits. Sorry, safety first!

State Police Encourages Michiganders to Create Emergency Preparedness Kits for Pets
June is National Pet Preparedness Month

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 20, 2023
LANSING, MICH. In honor of National Pet Preparedness Month, the Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division (MSP/EMHSD) is encouraging Michiganders to create an emergency preparedness kit for their pets to ensure complete family readiness during an emergency or disaster.

“Emergencies and disasters can happen quickly and unexpectedly and may force you to leave your home
for an extended period of time,” said Capt. Kevin Sweeney, deputy state director of Emergency Management and commander of the MSP/EMHSD. “Pets are often overlooked when creating an emergency plan. This is a good reminder to take a few moments to consider what you will do and where you will go with your pets during an incident.”

“When planning for unexpected situations, it is important to consider all members of our households, including our pets,” said State Veterinarian Dr. Nora Wineland. “Having a well-stocked emergency supply kit with their food, water, medications, and even a favorite toy can help keep pets calm and safe during unforeseen circumstances occurring at home or while traveling. By thinking ahead, our furry, feathered, finned, and scaled family members can be better protected.”

To create a pet preparedness kit, ensure the following items are readily available in a safe location:
• Pet food, water, and bowls
• Pet carrier, leash, and collar
• Photo of your pet or ID and a photo of you with your pet
• Immunization, veterinary records, and pet medications
• First Aid Kit
• Contact list of pet-friendly hotels, veterinarians, and out-of-town friends and family
• Toys, rope, and sanitation bags

My last day with these part-time babies. 🥰

I spent Thursday thru this morning with this guy. He came out to my house and strolled the property, snuggled on the couch and was an all around good boy. We then went back to his house and hung out beside the pool. Unfortunately this afternoon after his dad came home, he decided to chase the mailman and was hit by a car 😢. Run free sweet Deuce. I’m glad I had a wonderful weekend and as I said goodbye this morning I told him I loved him. 🌈😢💔
