A perfect evening like tonight is a great time to spend in the garden. We’re busy planting poblano and cayenne pepper plants. These are a first for us and we can’t wait for that first plate of Chile rellanos to hit.

I get asked a lot what we enjoy doing in our spare time. We love being outside and hanging out together. Arboretums and lush walking trails are our favorites. What trails and arboretums do you enjoy?
Our potatoes are looking good! 😍 this year we planted golds and reds. Cannot wait for that first batch of mashed potatoes to hit the plate!

Hello from New Morning Acres! We are excited to be back at the Lindale Reko Ring. This week we are offering our naturally grown vegetable baskets. We grow all of our produce on our 3 acre farm and we never use herbicides or synthetic pesticides.
Our baskets are a variety of produce that is growing on the farm and will vary weekly. Eating seasonally has so many health and environmental benefits. Join our Basket Friends of New Morning Acres group for recipe ideas or to share your creations using our vegetables.

This week we hope to harvest: premium salad mix, sugar snap peas, strawberries, kale, dill, celery, and napa cabbage.
PICK UP: Tuesday May 7th from 5-6pm
103 E Van St Lindale TX. We will be set-up in the back parking lot at First Baptist Church of Lindale. Across from their playground.

On our farm, our hearts are in our work. The farm is our job, and we strive to grow as naturally and as high quality as we can. We want to see butterflies, birds, and wildflowers on the land. Frogs and spiders are our pest management. Manure and compost are our fertilizers. Weeds are pulled by hand or turned back into the soil to keep the nutrients in place. We eat what we grow,and we grow the foods we like to eat. We give thanks to our Creator and rely on His timing and guidance. We are only human. Failing is in our nature. However, our path still profits the land and our community. And for your support we are very grateful. Thank you and have a blessed Sunday.
