UPDATE 8:02 PM: So far we have raised about $650. I will update the thank you list and update the post in the morning with where we are at at that time. Thank you everyone so far we're working our way towards the goal.

There couldn't be a worse time to ask for it with all the fires going on, but we need your help to keep going. I don't like asking for help, but it's a necessity once again.

At the end of our run on January 5th, I noticed a loud noise and a banging. I pulled over a Castle Rock to find an entire Hub set that had disassembled itself rapidly and, while doing so, bent the axle. I had just replaced both rear hubs with heavier Duty Parts due to a previous Hub failure.

The remaining animals were offloaded safely to their people prior to continuing on.

Luckily, Castle Rock is close enough to home and close enough two people that could help and we were able to strap the axle up and then I was able to drive home at 30 miles an hour with my flashers on..

This trailer has had warranty problems and other issues that have just added up over and over. I bought this brand of trailer hoping to get a better quality trailer than the last one I bought from Wells Cargo. We will limp through the rest of this season and build a new trailer designed to handle California.

A big thank you, Mike Grant, my good friend and ASE certified Master Mechanic who's willing to offer his time and tools as usual to get this fixed at no charge. Thank you, Mike! That saves me well over $1,000.

So here's the parts I need:

1.) 1 new axle $2100 pre wired for brakes.
2.) 2 completely new brake assemblies $825 (Thank you, Chris)
3.) 1 new tire and rim $325
4.) 4 sets of inner and outer bearings $160
5.) 2 new hubs $240

I'm supposed to run down there this next weekend and I'd be willing to bet that a lot of my animals that'll be coming up will be from those fires and with a capacity of over 60 animals safely I really want to get back down there and get back to this. So if you can help, please do, and if you can't, I totally understand right now.

Update: 11:34 AM

Thanks to the help of all of you we have had our goal. I will make sure I Circle back and thank anyone I missed when I take a break from the road. Thank you again everyone your support is amazing!

Update: 9:29 AM

As of the above posted time we have currently raised at $1,750. Only 250 more to go and we have hit the goal thanks to all of you wonderful people. I will update the moment it happens

-----------

Update: 8:00 AM

As of the above posted time we have currently raised just over 1100. Which means we are over halfway to the goal. Thank you very much for all your help so far and to any that help in the future.

-----------

Urgently requesting any help available from those who care and support our efforts!

For too many weeks to count now I have been running in the negative. Paying out of pocket hoping adoptions would pick up. They have not for the majority of my large rescues who use our transport services.

Each one of our runs costs no less than $2,000 per week. So that's an average of $8,000 per month just to run. And I usually keep enough in reserve to make one good run if everything else fails but I have used that money already in the past several weeks.

On average I transport around 4,000 animals a year for rescues and shelters. That's the reason the costs are so high.

I'm at the limit of being able to support this during the slow times and I have a choice to make. I need $2,000 in tires, which is Six Tires as I've gone through my spare tires already, and I can either spend that money on continuing after this weekend or I can get tires.

So, in short, I need to raise $2,000 ASAP. If I'm unable to do this in the next couple days this will be our last transport run. I'll have to make the decision to sell the trailer which is worth quite a bit of money and move back to previous career choices to support my family. This is not an option I want but we don't transport Walmart palettes we transport dogs which require adoptions to need that transport in the first place.

I rarely stick my hand out asking for help but if we want this to continue and save these animals getting them Northbound then I need that help. Many of you have slow adoptions right now and I take no offense if you can't help.

If you can help please send whatever you can to either PayPal or venmo with a note stating they are for tires please.

Thank you,
Jonathon L. Williams

Just some of the good friends that have found their way to their forever homes! It's been a while since I've posted so here's some cuteness to help you with your day!

04/09/2024

Barry McClintock has now screwed over multiple rescues including a very close friend. He has decided that he's going to dispute the charges for transport to a rescue that forwarded those funds to me for transport. So now he's screwing over non-profits for rescue. When I confronted him on it he ran like a little girl and decided that he was going to tell me I can't threaten him. McClintock I hope you understand you're done buddy. You f**k over people and Rescue for money and then do a disservice to the animals I got you bro. I'm going to repost this every f**king day for the next couple months. You f**ked over some good people and rescue for $500 man that's not $5 that's three or four dogs. Good luck with your rescue efforts but I'll make it very clear right here if you work with Barry you don't work with me ever again. I will not have shiesty people being involved.

Update: we hit it! Due to a couple of generous donors at the end we pushed over the line and we pick up the trailer tomorrow. I'm going to change the photo in this post to the new trailer itself. I will update the thank you post and try and figure out how to update everything to where I don't have nine different posts saying thank you. But thank you everyone we did it with the help of all of you!

This post is intended as our final push to get us across the finish line. We are so close to our goal that I have already scheduled an appointment to look at trailers tomorrow (1-26-24).

I have not updated our thank you/status post since 1-23-24. This is due to the fact donations slowed down drastically after the first few days of our donation drive. Please know we appreciate all of your efforts so far! The outpouring of affection and the level of giving has been heartwarming to say the least! To those that have spread the word for us but are unable to give, I promise, your efforts brought donations from people I have never interacted with yet still donated. Thank you all!

Let's get down to the numbers. I have one more donation to collect for $2000 which, without a doubt, I will collect when I am ready. This means I have raised just over $12,000 which is enough to purchase a trailer! This is great news! However, there is still a small hill to climb on this journey. There will be other additional costs and fees that are not included in the cost of the trailer itself. I will need just over $1000 for insulation and high heat adhesive to hang it. I will need Electrical lines to take power from the truck to run all but the A.C. units. This is a high heat 0 gauge line and connectors. I will need 30 ft/$4.50 a foot. I will need to install a rubberized liner on the floor and walls which is $80/gal and I will need 4 gallons. Lastly, DMV will want their pound of flesh!

I have close to $1000 I have to put towards incidentals. This leaves me needing around $1000 more in donations to know that I can have this new trailer on the road no later than the weekend of 1-3-24! That is a full week earlier than I had estimated and is 100% a possibility if I know I have the funds for anything that comes up along the way.

If you are wondering what layout/brand of trailer we will purchase.... So am I! I have 3 to look at and I have learned so much over these last years I need to see them in person. I will post photos of my options when I see them or I may drag one home and post.

If you can help us cross the line and get back to what we do best please donate at:

PayPal: [email protected]

When we hit our final number I will announce the good news and ask that no more donations are sent as there are other worthy causes that need your help!
