Cumberland Mountain Doodles
Hello! Welcome to Cumberland Mountain Doodles!! I am so happy you’re here. My name is Michelle. I’m happily married (for over 25 years!!) and am the proud mother of five boys. We now have a daughter-in-love and a sweet grandson. I believe life is good, better when it’s funny, and best lived for the Lord.
We raise standard F1 and F1B goldendoodles and AKC standard poodles, and I LOVE it! Our dogs are members of our family. When it’s time for puppies, they’re born in our bathroom, transition to a puppy pool in the foyer, and then have front porch puppy time for eating and playing and we box train using pine shavings. We begin a deworming protocol at 3 weeks for three consecutive days, and we repeat the process again at four and five weeks. Our puppies see their vet at six weeks. He gives them a head-to-tail puppy check up, including a f***l exam, and administers their first set of vaccinations. We work very closely with our vet, and we are just thrilled with his insight, advice, and their services. Our puppies come with a certificate of health from our vet, a health guarantee, a genetic guarantee, a lifetime bring-back policy (if you should ever find you’re not able to care for your doodle, please don’t send them to a shelter or pound, we will take them and love them until they can be rehomed), and a spay/neuter contract. (Pet homes only, please). Puppies may be registered with the CKC (if you choose to do so) once the spay/neuter has been completed. New puppy parents receive a picture and or video update DAILY. True story!! I want you to see how we’re raising them and to be able to watch them as they grow. Your new puppy will go home with all their paperwork, puppy pads, puppy food, pictures and a keepsake that we make together. They are handled and loved on daily and it shows. We do our very, very best to give them an awesome start in an environment where they’ve known nothing but love and that people bring nothing but good things. Our goal is to provide you with a happy, healthy, well-adjusted puppy who will become a treasured member of your family for years and years to come. I count it as an honor and a privilege to be there when they are born and to take care of them until they’re ready for their new homes. I am their Granna, and I love them.
Our mama Feebee Jeen is an AKC/CKC dual-registered red standard poodle, if there’s a sweeter, smarter, more mellow pupper, we haven’t met her yet. Stella Luna is our girl from our very first litter. She is a CKC registered F1 standard goldendoodle, and she is AMAZING!! She is sweet, smart, and loves everyone--cats, dogs, squirrels, strangers, it doesn’t matter. Lieutenant Dan is an AKC/CKC dual-registered red standard male poodle. He is precious! Super smart, loves his mama, and is a sweetheart with our kiddos. He just wants to please. Our Harper Wren is an AKC/CKC dual-registered dark golden, golden retriever. She is such a joy!! You can’t beat that wonderful golden retriever personality and we’re so glad she’s a part of the family. McGruff is an AKC/CKC dual-registered golden retriever with champion bloodlines. He is the daddy to our F1 goldendoodles with Feebee. He is such a handsome feller and as sweet a dog as you could ask for. He is owned by our dear friends, and I am just thrilled with the puppies he has sired.
We have fallen in love with the standard poodle breed (my goodness, they are so smart and so sweet!) and have been just blown away by how awesome goldendoodles are. They are much lower grooming maintenance than a poodle (just being honest here) and we’ve had very, very little shedding. They’re smart and sweet and make the most amazing family dogs. I highly recommend them EVEN if you don’t go home with one of mine. I don’t do a high pressure sale. Ever. I firmly believe when it’s right, and time, it just works out! If we are what you’re looking for, that’s wonderful, if we’re not, I truly wish you the best of luck and hope you find just what you need. Please let me know if you have any questions, I’m so happy to do my best to answer them.
