Thank you Brian Barczyk for being an inspiration in our generation. To remind humanity to “love animals, and stop being afraid of snakes” he tells us to “get inspired.” As I see so much of the hobby crumble… our own store included, it’s a reminder to passionate keepers to “follow your dreams & keep going” ♥️💥

It’s a reminder in life in general to “keep going, it’ll be okay.” He knows he will be up with God, him and Steve Irwin, The Legend Lives On “having a ball” being legends.. “ you never die until the last person speaks your name” I won’t, we won’t!

Your spirit will be with Lori and the team, the Reptarium & Legacy Aquarium.. remembering always to LOVE LIFE, LOVE PEOPLE, BE GOOD TO PEOPLE, and work to change peoples minds about wildlife ☮️

It’s with a heavy heart we have to shed some light on a situation to protect our customers & friends.

We are always of the mindset in sharing only positive and constructive information to fellow hobbyists.

We are also very much an open book so any further questions feel free to come to Sarah or David directly.

Bottom line, someone very close to the atypical fam has been stealing from the store, and directly lied when confronted. This IS NOT an assumption… we have proof. We wanted to remain quiet, because drama and negativity, is not something we want to be associated with.. however, we have recently learned this same person has been borrowing and lying to other customers of ours, so to protect ALL of you we needed to speak out 📢

Our customers are the heart of our business and we wouldn’t exist without you. We apologize if this person has done any harm to any of you, and would advise to use extreme caution in any future endeavors.

PS 1.1 leachie pair is one of the items still unresolved and missing, if you purchased these geckos, atypical was NOT paid for them . Picture is of the remaining leachie from the trio.

Hey Atypical Family!

Long post 🚨

We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from the community during this difficult time!

We heard the demand loud and clear and after careful consideration we have decided that we WILL stay OPEN!

We will be adjusting our hours so we have more time for our family, they will take some time to reflect on google, so please be patient with us.

Will remain closed on Mondays, and open Tuesday-Saturday 12-6:30 and Sunday 12-5:30.

Sales will continue through 10/1/23.

We are still downsizing personal collection to allow more of our attention toward the store, so be on the lookout for breeder specials!!
