Today, we had a very special visit from Brad with
OperationBlanketsOfLove.org . He got to meet the piggies and goats. Of course, Hamilton turned on the charm as he usually does. Sassy turned on the charm as well and, of course, got some treats. Brad delivered an amazingly beautiful house for the 🐷🐽🐖 here! We can't wait to get it into their enclosure and share some 📸. He also brought some igloos (they love napping in them in the colder months), and he brought lots of towels, which are incredibly helpful when taking girls for their spays so they have something comfortable to lay on and recouperate.
Hi hooves and 🐽 kisses from all the piggies for your continued support of them! We humans are also very appreciative of your many donations to help us keep these girls comfy and cozy!

It took Brad and me about five hours to sort, pack and load both vans and it took these energetic Bakersfield Animal Care Center Volunteers about 14 minutes under OBOL Founder Eileen's direction!
Great trip to Bakersfield and so worth it to help out their over-taxed animal shelter! Looking forward to the next big rescue effort!

OperationBlanketsOfLove.org for donating food and supplies for animals in need on Skid Row. So many hungry animals were in so much need of food! Thank you!!!
It was heartbreaking today. Nearly every person I talked to with an animal just had a litter of puppies or kittens. Dogs with heavy chains around their necks, dogs with dirty water or no water at all, everybody needing food and water. It was over 90 degrees on Skid Row today. Imagine just baking on the sidewalk.
I want to do another big drop off of food and supplies so if anybody can donate food or supplies let me know. Or visit and go to the linktree in the bio to donate so we can get more stuff for the dying animals.
And of course we need fosters and adopters so let me know if you can open your homes!

When we started trapping at this house a few months ago I noticed the cats were painfully thin. I suspected that the colony wasn’t getting enough food for how many cats were living at this location. Upon talking to the home owner, she admitted that she struggled to keep them all well fed. Which is totally understandable for a person who is retired and on a fixed income who is trying to feed 15+ community cats.
I was donating food to her but it was getting harder for me to feed my own colony in addition to her colony. I was lucky enough to get in touch with Brad from OperationBlanketsOfLove.org (an Earth Angel) who offered to help this colony feeder. I was jumping for joy to hear that he could help! Now this colony will be properly taken care of thanks to this amazing organization.

I can’t thank enough for the support OperationBlanketsOfLove.org gives me, and Teresa for sharing her blessing with us. It gets me excited pushes me to keep working hard for our homeless community cats, to keep seeking help to advocate for them TNR !! I am so happy, so many numbers I have dial, sent msg, and emails seeking help are finally being heard…with gods help and the beauty of peoples with the same heart as mine this week we plan to TNR as many cats possible here in OC(more post to come 🥹🙏🏽) and thx to OBOL we will have plenty of food to offer them after surgeries. Thank you God for helping me with this mission.

When we suddenly rushed to save Chulo from a very unfortunate situation. You had supplies for him. He is at a sanctuary where he is going to learn how to be a horse and get all the love in the world.
