Today and tomorrow only... all dog adoption fees are waived (usually only $150).
Qualified adopters can take home your new best friend and not worry about adoption fees. Adoptions include microchip, spay/neuter, and all vaccinations while in our care.
You must be 18 years old or older, own your home, or have landlord approval (we must speak to your landlord), no big dogs in apartments, and you must be able to provide for the dog (food, water, shelter, humane care) for the length of its life - can be up to and over 14 years
Please be sure you are ready for years of love and loyalty... shelter pets rock!!

MICROCHIPS WORK!!
This sweet pup was found in Stockton and brought back to Oroville by the well-intended founder... but when they decided they couldn't keep her, they gave her to a friend who had her checked for a microchip... which she had! 😃❤️🐾
The owners were located and ecstatically drove up to Oroville to be reunited with their sweet girl - she had been missing for over two months. They never stopped looking for her, and all were so so happy to be reunited! (Photos in comments)
Please... if you find a dog, bring them to the local shelter for the area in which the dog was found, regardless of the condition you feel the dog is in...
They may have been missing for an extended period of time under an array of circumstances that may have been out of the owners' control.
We reunite microchipped animals much quicker than those without microchips, and we microchip for only $20 here at the shelter. If your pet is microchipped, be sure to keep your contact information up to date!!
