Spotted Turtle Feeding Frenzy
I was very fortunate to aquire two baby Spotted Turtles. They are a fun little turtle. This is yet another species that needs to be bred in order to save the species. They are a small turtle 3 ½ - 4 ½ inches, conservation status: ENDANGERED (Population decreasing). Spotted turtles are aquatic omnivores that inhabit a variety of semi-aquatic or in other words, shallow, fresh water areas such as flooded forests, marshes, wet meadows, bogs and woodland streams in southern Ontario, Canada and the eastern US: the eastern Great Lakes and pretty much the entire Eastern Coastline. Mine are captive bred from legal stock. Here is a video of feeding time. It's crazy to see them fight over thier blood worms... Like there is not enough to go around. Let the feeding frenzy begin. Viewers digression is advised. 😆
