Santa, 10 years ago, on December 6th, made a "surprise" home visit to deliver Pepper! Pepper, who tried on some other names, including Maggie, earned her spicy name, Pepper. Pepper was strong willed from the beginning and was rumored to have been part goat, with an iron clad stomach!!! Tonight, as you said ~till we meet again~ to Pepper, know that you gave her a gift and that she will be watching over your family...always❤️

Ribbon was "your girl." Ribbon was your power. Ribbon, lived her very best life and strived to please always. Today, you gave Ribbon the most unselfish gift... you gave her a peaceful passing, in her home, immersed in your touch and your love. ~until you meet again~

As a parent, I cannot fathom anything more difficult than having a child with a potentially life threatening illness. When that child's only request, at the age of five, is if she survives, may she please have a dog...well, she gets a dog! Bones, because all dogs love "bones," was a gift to the family. Bones was a testament to the resilience of Savannah and was a survivor himself. This evening, Bones was gifted peace and as Savannah and her family surrounded him, with happy stories, they all agreed, that while they had loved him for his entire life, they, they would remember him for their entire lives. ~until you meet again~❤️

As we gather around the table to give thanks and to celebrate with family, let's not forget to be grateful for our furry, feathery, and scaly friends who bring so much joy, love, and comfort to our lives each and every day. Whether they’re snuggling us, wagging their tails, or simply giving us those sweet, loving eyes, they make every day feel like a reason to be thankful.
Tomorrow, as you celebrate Thanksgiving, be grateful for the unconditional love of your pets and the laughter they bring to your lives. Wishing all of you and your fur babies a day filled with love, belly rubs, treats, and (safe!) turkey scraps. ~Happy Thanksgiving~❤️

I can never overstate how appreciative and thankful I am for those families that choose to adopt older/senior pups. Fiona, was an older girl, a bit quirky and well, named Fiona for her "not so attractive looks," as in Fiona from Shrek. Fiona, feisty till the very end, was well loved and had a remarkable family to live out
her very best years. Thank you. Thank you for not overlooking Fiona for a younger, cuter pup. Thank you for your commitment to rescue and to fostering, while you have your hands full with young humans! Know that Fiona will be watching over you...~until you meet again~❤️

When I think of a "frisbee dog," Boxer is not the first breed to come to mind, however, Gunner was just that...a frisbee dog! Gunner, if he caught the frisbee, would demand to be chased to retrieve his "trophy" to be thrown again, but if he would, by chance, not catch the frisbee, he would obediently return it and drop it at his human's feet for a second chance. Tonight, as his human reassured him that it was a sunny day, they were resting in the shade and that they would throw frisbee, we believed him. Gunner, we believe, is enjoying a beautifully sunny day, catching frisbee and watching over his family. ~until you meet again~❤️

They understood that we were not looking to "advertise," but to share awareness of our services. We are grateful for their support and their continued commitment to the services we offer. Thank you.

Veterinarian Dr. Mark Huber and his wife, Stacey, understand the deep meaning of being at home with pets during such an emotional time. This inspired them to establish Till We Meet Again, a dedicated home hospice and in-home euthanasia service.

This morning, Shaya's family had to make the most difficult decision. Not an easy decision, but the choice in Shaya's best interest... allowing her to cross over the Rainbow Bridge. Giuliana, she was fortunate to have grown up with Shaya. As an eight year old, we witnessed as Giuliana wrestled with the decision and we ultimately hope that, while maybe not today, she will realize the gift that she and her family gave to Shaya. We were thankful to have met and to have spent time together with Shaya's family and we're appreciative for the photos that they shared. ~until you meet again~❤️

"No good deed goes unpunished"
My parents adopted this sweet girl, Honey, from a kill shelter, only to later learn she was pregnant! What was one adoption is now...10!!! While we know very little of these rascals' breed, I am excited to watch them grow and to hopefully find them their forever homes!

Thankful that Covid days are so far behind us... it is so fulfilling to once again be able to listen as families share their stories of their loved one and to be able to share a hug after experiencing what is likely one of the most difficult experiences of a lifetime.
Today, we were together with a family, a family who has suffered their fair share of health crises, as they surrounded Stella with love and so many shared fond memories of their time together with Stella. What resonated with me most, was when the father declared, "dogs, they give us so many days of happiness, but they also give us the one worst day." While today may have felt like the worst day, we hope you know that you gave Stella a gift and that you were blessed to have "a cat disguised as a dog!" Know that we, too, are feeling your loss today and will miss Stella.

Tonight, I heard the most truthful proclamation... may all those, humans, who are kind, be reincarnated as a Labrador Retriever so that you can chase tennis balls and eat without guilt! As a family with 3 labs, I could not agree more, Raya, Raya passed, with a full belly and in her home, surrounded by her family. She had a great, a full life. While it is never easy... tonight Raya's family whispered ~until we meet again~❤️

It has been said before, "this has been the dog of my lifetime." Whenever we hear that, we know, it truly has been the companion of a lifetime to that individual and family. Ozzie, was her "dog of a lifetime." Ozzie was her faithful companion as she navigated some of the most challenging times of her life. Bonded at an early age to one another, they experienced so much together and Ozzie always remained faithful, being present for her and adjusting to changes that were necessary. While this evening was a difficult one, we hope you know how thoughtful you were to consider Ozzie's comfort and quality as you selfishly provide Ozzie the gift of a peaceful passing, in your arms.

It was the end of an era as they said ~until we meet again~ to their legendary pup, Buster. Buster was well renowned in his neighborhood for being "the dog on the roof!" He was a famous fan at Emma's softball games for his tranquility and patience. Buster, a "shop dog" could even sometimes be seen, riding sidecar, adorned in googles and his leather vest. There is no doubt that Emma's sixth birthday present was a gift to all of you. You gave Buster his very best life and when it was his time, you returned the gift. ~until you meet again~❤️

This afternoon we meet Kissa. Kissa, in Finnish meaning "cat." In Swedish meaning "female cat." What we learned today is that Kissa, in Egyptian means "sister of twins." Kissa was a beautiful cat, who appreciated the outdoors and was blessed to pass, peacefully, in her (relatively newly acquired) backyard...on her blanket, in the sun, surrounded by love. Know that you made the right decision. Not the easy decision, but the right decision. May Kissa's memory live on in her sister, though there was nothing "twin" about the sisters! ~until you meet again~❤️

Today, we met Maria and while we were not aware of her story, we learned how she and Paz found one another. Paz is in her lap, the entire time as she openly shares her story. Paz is a comfort to her and... it is clear that she is a comfort to Paz. They were both searching for "peace, a quiet place where they could feel safe." Together, alongside one another, they achieved peace and the feeling of safety. We learned that Paz, is "peace" in Spanish.
This evening, and as you grieve, we hope that you please remember, in your own words, "the light I've been searching for has always been within." You, ultimately gave Paz, peace. Not an easy decision, but the one that was best for her. ~until you meet again~❤️

Maria's Story is a story of hope, compassion, and encouragement. A resilient young lady who has persevered.
