Woofster County Canine Club LLC

Welcome to Woofster County Canine Club's page. My name is Jason Driscoll, and I started this company in hopes of sharing my interest, knowledge, and extensive experience with dogs with my neighbors in the Worcester County area.

About me: I always wanted a dog growing up, but it wasn't until 2004, at the age of 23, that we got our first family pup, a pit-bull mix named Sydney. Being new dog owners, my parents, brothers, and I showered her with love and affection, but had little knowledge about dog behaviors, and had no idea how to train a 7-week-old puppy. Things quickly turned sour - Sydney began having all sorts of behavioral problems, including: impossible to walk on leash, jumping all over people, running rampant through the house, not listening to commands, and potty-training issues. I began educating myself about dog behavior, dog training, started taking Sydney to local training classes, and applying the skills that I learned into my daily routine with Sydney. Almost immediately, I began noticing improvements in her behavior. Sydney became my best friend – she learned and grew alongside with me, I learned about her and she learned about me. I grew more and more interested in dog behavior modification. In early 2006, I made the decision to leave my job in the corporate world to pursue a career in dog training. In May of 2007, I received my Certification as a Dog Trainer and Behaviorist after graduating from The Triple Crown Training Academy (now Starmark Academy) in Hutto, Texas, the largest dog training facility in the country at the time. While in Texas, I adopted my second dog, an Australian Shepherd named Whiskey.

Experience: For the previous 12 years, I worked at The Dog Scoop in Newton, MA. I helped run the daycare and overnight facility and provided hundreds of private walks and in-home trainings with our clients. In addition, I aided in the growth and success of the company, winning multiple Best of Boston Awards for daycare and overnight services. I have experience with nearly every breed of dog and helped owners address and resolve every type of issue imaginable.

Fast forward to the present: In July of 2018, my wife and I moved to Northborough with our son and our two dogs, Whiskey and Ari. Sadly, we lost Sydney last year (she was almost 14) but she will always be remembered as the best friend and the canine that helped me realize what I was meant to do, and also the inspiration behind my logo. I am excited to announce that Woofster County Canine Club is officially open for business. As the summer winds down and everyone gets back into a routine, I hope you will consider Woofster County for all of your canine pals’ needs. I will be providing trainings, walks, and in-home boarding to Northborough and the surrounding areas.
