Today is one of those days, that is overwhelming and heartbreaking. Millie and Izzy two really great girls in desperate need of a foster. A dog in Bowman has been hit by a car and has an injured leg. Now these beautiful puppies need a rescue before the worms and flea end their life. We will provide a vet visit for worming and vaccination. Please tag every Rescue you know. Please share.

This dog is in desperate need. He/she is in Bowman at the dollar general. He was hit by a car and appears to have a broken foot. The people at dollar general gave the dog water. The dog seems to be very sweet and friendly and is in need of human kindness. If you can help we can work on the vet bills. We do not currently have any pictures. If you are going to help please post here and please share.

This is a very urgent situation. Please help these girls....
Please meet Millie and Izzy
Unfortunately they are both losing their current foster home, (no fault of their own, but due to current foster family situation), at the end of the month and they need to find a forever home, new foster and/or even another rescue!
Millie (fawn/white markings) is a very sweet 3 and half year old pit-bull that loves to play, loves water and dog friendly(don't know about cats). She is up to date on all shots, crate/ house trained, knows basic commands and spayed.
Izzy (grey/white markings)is also a very sweet 8+year old lab/pit bull mix, very laid back kind of girl that also loves to play with her toys while laying on the floor next to you. She would be great for someone that likes to stay around the house. She is dog friendly (don't know about cats) also up to date on all shots, crate/house trained and knows basic commands as well!
If you would to give either one these wonderful girls a forever home, or think you would like to foster, or even take them in your rescue please contact Second Chance of Orangeburg Animal Rescue Coalition..

Do you remember the little puppy all by herself in Bowman. Two Heroes/ Angel from Lugoff answered our plea to help. Kim Boisvert and her daughter set out to find this baby and find her they did. She is so thin you see the bones in her spine. We don't think she would have lasted much longer in this hear and starvation. Not also mention the worms, ticks and fleas. Tonight she has a warm soft bed and love, tomorrow she goes to the vet for whatever she needs. Please say a prayer for her.

If you call and say you found a stray...I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful when I ask you to please take good care of the dog, feed it, love it and get the dog to a vet if you can, if you don't have the funds we will try to pay. Then we will try to find a home or Rescue. If you call and say I want to get rid of my dog. First I will tell you I really dislike that wording...get rid of... like that precious soul is a piece of trash. Then I will ask a lot of questions. You will need to keep and care for the dog while we try to find a home or rescue. The landscape of animal/pet Rescue has changed the last 4 years. Foster's need to agree to long term fostering, adoptions are not happening as quickly as hoped. We need dozens of more Foster's to save lives. However, if you want to make a difference in a life please complete our Foster application on our page. We can only do so much and the pets need you. Thank you please share.

These babies were born under a house. They were caught this morning. Mom does trust people enough to be caught. A Rescue is needed to help these maybe 7 to 8 week old babies. If you will help please post here.

It's heartbreaking so many mama dogs and their puppies, stray, needing a home and medical attention. This is the 2nd post today. Any mother, human, dog, mouse, possum etc love and protect their children as best they can. A dog relies on people to survive. Mouse, possum and so many other species don't mother nature gave the skills and instincts they need to survive. Dogs don't have those skills and instincts. When in this situation they suffer and die horrible painful deaths. Most of the time the mother watches her children die, helpless to anything before she subcombs to death. PLEASE ANY RESCUE OR PERSON WILLING TO HELP POST HERE. There are 7 puppies in this family.

UPDATE: Time is up for Molly and Honey. Tomorrow the owner will be forced to schedule euthanasia or lose her home. If you are a rescue and can help them, please step up.
Courtesy Post: This mother and daughter need immediate rescue or rehoming. Mom Molly is an all white Pyrenees and daughter Honey is a Pyrenees/Hound mix. Their owner has 3 dogs and her landlord has told her two must go by June 20.
If you are interested in either dog, please fill out an application on our page. Ignore the adoption fee, we are just trying to find these dogs good homes or rescue.

UPDATE ON MAMA AND HER PUPPIES!
$1666.58 later mama and her puppies are well on their way to health and happiness. They had scabies and sarcoptic manage, tons of hookworms and everything you would imagine a stray mom and her puppies would have. They went home with their foster today. They are on antibiotics for skin infections. Mama tested positive for heartworms so we have started her on the slow kill method. All are vaccinated. We are still looking for a rescue to accept them. We do need help to pay this huge vet bill. Every dollar counts. Please donate to Paypal.me/secondchanceoforange. Thank you.

Come out to one of our adoption events this weekend and meet some great dogs! If you can’t adopt, we desperately need fosters. They would love to meet you! Saturday 11:30-3:30 Pet Supermarket on Two Notch in Columbia. Sunday 2:00-5:00 Petsense in Orangeburg. Tig and Bella are just two of the dogs available for adoption or fostering.
A foster, adopter, or rescue is needed for two year old Tig. She is a spayed two year old Lab mix that loves being inside and cuddling. Tig is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. We are using the slow kill method to treat heartworms and she will come with monthly medication to finish treatment. Tig is crate and house trained. A sponsor has offered to pay her adoption fee with an approved application. Please share!
Cuteness overload!!! Seventeen days old today! These babies and Mom have been truly blessed. It took a village, but Mom and puppies are doing fantastic with their foster! It is not too early to think about adding to your family. The puppies in the purple and light blue collars are already spoken for. Someone is interested in Mom and another female pup and is going to meet them soon.❤️
STRESS is no stranger. But not finding help for Sugar and Sweetpea is so hard. Especially when you know how great these two dogs are and what wonderful members of a family they would be. Under normal circumstances John and I would bring them to our home to keep them loved and safe. But nothing is normal right now. Please please please help us find a rescue, foster or home for these two girls. We will not allow anything to happen to them...we promised them a good life...we need you to help us keep our promise.

Our Story
We are currently a foster based rescue with a dream of a brick and mortar sanctuary that will provide transitional housing for homeless pets until their forever family is found. We are a volunteer based rescue. As a 501 C 3 non profit all donations are tax deductible. Some of our programs include a pet food pantry, unchain Orangeburg where we provide fencing and dog houses to unchain a pet, we participate in the working cat program providing an alternative life for a feral cat, we fight animal abuse, and neglect and cruelty with our Somebody, Somewhere know Something campaign. We provide spaying and neutering to pets in need when funding allows. Stay tuned for a list of our volunteer opportunities.
