I would like to update everyone about Cookie. She is currently in the care of a volunteer to get her out of the cold. She is adjusting so well and we are so proud of her.
We are looking for a long term foster, adopter, or a rescue with a facility that can take her in.
The most important requirements are that you have a fenced in backyard and personal references and vet references.
Thank you to all the organizations that are reaching out and networking. It takes a village.

Cookie has until Saturday to find somewhere to go. Her family has to move and they cannot take her. She is a one year old lab mix and is very sweet. She has a vet appointment for Jan. 6. This will be for deworming, shots, and to get her started on heartworm medication. She will need to be spayed. The cost for the vet visit and spaying will be paid by a donor.
Please,would a rescue, individual, or AC help Cookie find safety? Please share! Located in Orangeburg, S.C.

***Update: Cookie is now by herself. Her family has moved.
***Update: Cookie, like so many others, had hoped for a home for Christmas. She is still tethered in the backyard of an abandoned house. She is more fortunate than some because she is being fed and watered by a volunteer. Please keep helping us find her a home.
***Update: A rescue in North Carolina has offered to take Cookie. 🙂We thank everyone for sharing.

Sharing 2 dogs in need of help! This was written by a lady needing help.

These dogs are in need of immediate rescue or adoption! They showed up at my house a few weeks ago. I had to tie them on because they were trying to hurt my cats. Both are in tact and although I have tried to keep them separate they have hooked up twice that I’ve seen last week(no more since because I fixed his tie out). I am unemployed and can’t feed my animals let alone them.
Both dogs are incredibly sweet and amazing with all other animals except cats. They have know basic commands such as sit, shake, and down. No food aggression but obviously starving so don’t want other dogs by their food when eating(fine with me touching it and petting them while eating.) I have done my best to instill love and compassion into these two babies and wish them the best but I can’t keep them here anymore and can Not have her having puppies here! If you can help her please post here.

JUST A DOG...is
A soldier in the American military, saving lives and sacrificing their own lives while protecting their fellow soldiers.
They lead the blind, giving the sight impaired a life of independence.
A Law Enforcement officer protecting life and property.
A best friend to you and your family, willing to sacrifice their lives to save yours.
They can detect cancer, seizures, and blood sugar and so much more.
A bodyguard for your children. No one got near our daughter, she was well protected.
Just a dog...is this and so much more. Shouldn't they have our respect, our protection, our love and laws to keep mankind from causing them so much pain and suffering.
No dog, should starve, be homeless, be chained or abused. No dog just die because a lack of medical care.
DO YOU AGREE, DO YOU BELIEVE WE CAN DO BETTER?
YOU can start by fostering a rescue. A rescued dog have nothing wrong with them. They have been let down by humans. Please Foster and Adopt and please SPAY an Neuter you dogs.

Daffodil aka Daffy
Appropriately 4mo female, sister to Donny. Very high energy and feisty. Craves attention and cuddles. UTD as of November 23rd, heartworm negative. Crate and pen trained. Working on house training and leash training. Both are very inquisitive.

Donny
Appropriate 4mo male with a lay back personality. He does get feisty when he has someone to play with. UTD as of November 23rd. Heartworm negative. Appropriately 14 pounds. Crate and pen trained. Working on house training. Walks well on a leash. Loves to be cuddled and gives kisses galore.
