Recovery is going about as expected, im not in a whole lot of pain except for one very specific spot that feels like im being stabbed with lava when i sit/stand up, and ive had no nausea! I am currently grounded by the kitties for almost passing out in the bathroom (im fine! Slept through taking my meds and the pain from walking triggered the vasovagal response) so we're still taking it easy. Im gonna be calling the doctor about the whole lava-stabbing thing in the morning to make sure thats fine but i think all things considered im doing good!

The kitties are doing a very good job at healing me with purrs (and screaming *cough* Jasmine) and making sure i dont spend too long out of bed, i was feeling pretty good last night and i think i did a little bit too much and ended up in more pain by bedtime, so we're dialing it back a bit today. Sherbert does keep trying to steal my Jello though.

Jasmine would like everyone to know that she is being a very good nurse and has only stepped directly on an incision once.

Im doing alright, in a good amount of pain but surgery went well and i am home and recovering. Only 2/4 of my incisions really hurt right now, so i count that as a win.

I figured i should probably let everyone know i'll be getting surgery tomorrow to remove my gallbladder. Went to the ER via ambulance on the 25th because i was in so much pain i couldnt communicate with my family, turns out a i have a massive 25mm (pretty much 1 inch) gallstone thats lodged itself in the neck of my gallbladder. Despite my many medical issues this will be my first surgery since getting my tonsils removed at like 3 or 4 years old, so im a bit anxious to say the least 😬

Little miss Chai has a vet appointment on Wednesday at 4:30pm est, with the weight loss in combo with diarrhea and occasional vomiting, i just want to be safe and get her checked out. Chai is a little on the skinny side for my taste, so she gets secret snackies (now in the bathroom because everyone caught on to me and now thinks theres wet food every time i close my bedroom door for any reason)
