Pudge is officially 5 weeks old! So I figured id introduce him to some @tikipets Baby Mousse (tiki cat has quickly become my preferred food for kittens, love this stuff) and it was a hit immediately. I didn't even have to put any in his mouth, he just immediately started eating it! And man oh man does this guy have the meat shakes 🤣
Sir, your house, it is upside down.
If you told me six years ago that one day I'd be sitting with Aurora in my lap bathing a kitten, I would have said you were insane. Apparently, she's taken a liking to Pebble. Now if only she was as fond of her brothers.
This boy loves to eat! He has officially doubled his intake weight as of a few days ago. It has been a while since I felt comfortable enough with a kittens appetite to switch to an actual bottle instead of a syringe, but this guy is solid, and the only missed meals were easily solved. And for an update on names: I am narrowing it down, I am hoping to finally settle on one in the next few days but uh... maybe don't hold me to that... im so bad at naming boys...
Dad was takin too long with the bottle and little guy was NOT happy about it!
(Thank you foster dad for grabbing the bottle when I accidentally woke him up a little early while putting away laundry!)
I kept seeing flailing of limbs in my peripheral vision, and he's just over there doin.... whatever this is
I bumped the incubator while taking care of laundry and he was not pleased. I did remove the audio from this, but rest assured, he was not making any noise.
This cutie is doing amazingly with the exception of some constipation, making him skip meals every so often. Other than that he is a happy little guy. Ive narrowed down my name options, im just indecisive, as I'm sure you all know by now 😅
I am happy to report that Pebble is fine and the loss of his 🥜 has not affected him in any way 🙄 now to try and get him to chill out so he doesn't reopen his incision with this ridiculousness
Small little snuggle baby. Hes just the happiest lil guy.
This lil guy is the most snuggly baby, he just wants to be held. He's also a mouthy lil dude. I can't wait to see how his personality develops, this is my favorite part of fostering neonates, seeing them develop their own little quirks and preferences. Usually when they're this little it isn't as noticeable, but he is most certainly gonna be a cuddle bug.
How it's been trying to get content from these beasts lately 😐 the moment I pull my phone out to get a picture or video, they stop doing whatever it was. Aspen was rolling around in the fresh litter and being a weirdo.
We have some very happy boys today
I just wanted to show you all how Pebble turns into a liquid when picked up, and instead, he decided it was time to bite my hands. Lil man has SO MUCH energy, and currently, everyone else is napping. He would definitely NOT be a good solo cat, he loves to wrestle and romp around with Hawthorn and Aspen but ideally, his forever home would have another kitten around his age (almost 14 weeks right now! Insane to think he's that old) with a similar amount of energy (way too much)
Realized I hadn't shown you guys Aspens med routine! It is extremely easy and takes all of 2 minutes every day. He is on 2.5mg of prednisolone every day for a month whenever he flares up, that dosage may increase as he gets older, but for now it works very well. Every morning (ignore my watch I slept 12 hours 🤐) I get out of bed and go grab his pill from the kitchen, he squeaks at me the entire time, then him and Hawthorn run back to my room, I toss Hawthorn out and close the door, Give Aspen his pill and treat, and then we're done! Well, aside from the next 3 hours that Aspen spends begging for more treats and trying to convince me he hasn't had his meds already.
Time to fight the evil carrier again!
We hit our fundraising goal for Pebbles vet bill a few days ago, thank you everyone who donated ❤️
I believe Pebble may be allergic to chicken/poultry, there is a test our vet can do, but it is ~$200-$250 that we would need to fundraise in order to get it done, on top of needing to fundraise for his neuter soon! I'm going to keep linking all my donation links at the bottom of each post and try and come up with something fun to do like our holiday fundraiser ❤️
Donations can be made through:

Venmo: @thekittenwonderland
Cashapp $thekittenwonderland
Or our amazon list is https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/K8L8KVA6ILMM?ref_=wl_share
I had to remove the audio from this because its just FD and i complaining about how he has the nerve to play after making me worried for his life 🤣 im so glad hes playing though, even if im a lil upset about the cost.
If you would like to help with the $210 vet bill, donations can be given through paypal, venmo, or cashapp.

This week, we experimented with solid food, and while he seems to love it, his tummy doesn't just yet. Today was the first full day of mostly wet food, and tonight, he's having some vomiting and is generally feeling a bit crummy. So, of course, im keeping an eye on him instead of sleeping. I've had this happen in the past with weaning, where no matter how slow we do it, it sends their little digestive systems haywire for a day or two.
