Puppy eating blueberries
Ummm, can you say cutest blueberry-eating puppy EVER! This is Chiko, he is 4 months old, and he LOVES blueberries!
It feels really cool to build something of our very own; our own version of serving in a way that makes pet parenting a little less stressful. Can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Okay, I’m not trying to make you all jealous; but I have to ask…How did you warm up for your day? I’m guessing YOU didn’t play soccer with a handsome young lad🥰⚽️🐾
Do you see the resemblance? Our designer captured Josie’s spirit perfectly for our new logo. She is the inspiration for WiseDog Pet Care. She continues to keep a diligent watch over our family. The day she no longer follows my every move will be the day I know her job is almost done. For now, we will cherish this happy girl who loves her banana. Watch the video and see what else we use the banana for🤫🥰
Turbo and Diesel treat toss
Turbo and Diesel suggest you throw kindness around like dog treats. Even if your toss is a little rusty, it'll get better with practice:)
I dreaded my 3:30 visit today. Not because of the wind and rain compliments of hurricane Nicole, but because it was my last walk with Ms. Patsy before her family moves north. From the beginning, I had to earn Patsy’s approval as she was very tight with Bill. She didn’t want to leave her parents’ bedroom, let alone get off their bed. She rolled on the floor so I couldn’t put her collar on, and if I got the collar on she wouldn’t get up. If she got up, then she refused to cross the front door threshold. If we got out the door, she stopped, sat, and refused to budge.
Little by little, Patsy’s ears perked up when I entered the room and called her name. Little by little, she wagged her tail when I approached with her collar. Then there was the day when she came out of the bedroom without coaxing, but the BEST day ever was when she pranced to the door and greeted me with her octopus! Her mom told me that was a big deal! I earned my place as a member of Patsy’s trusted circle.
Our girl loves to sniff, and she also loves to kick grass in my face when I pick up her poo. If she doesn’t get a treat after she poos, she will cut off every step you take until said treat is delivered and it best be something she likes! Such a diva that Bill and I had the opportunity to spoil for 3 years. We sure will miss you Patsy Girl🥹
Henry's got swag!
This is Henry, the Corgi. Henry, the Corgi, has a cute butt. I may speak for many when I say, I wish my butt looked that cute when I trotted down the sidewalk.😂
Spending the morning enjoying one of Florida's more elusive natural wildlife... bats!
A great form of mosquito control! Getting into that Halloween spirit 🎃👻🦇
Oh Levi ... Well, I mean at least he waited, so there's that.
This is Gunner's first experience with a food puzzle. First attempt, he nuzzled it and looked at me with head tilted and eyes asking, "What is this?" I SHOWED him what to do (no video 😅 of that, unfortunately). Second attempt, he put his nose down to business and didn't look at me once until every cookie piece and its crumbs rest in his tummy.
You ask for ball. I bring you ball.
Here is the Cup Game in action. I'm sure you can come up with a more clever name😆There are so many variations that can be done with this game according to your dog's strengths. You always want to set them up for success, not struggle. When the game got started Cosmo knew exactly what to do but Bella didn't, so I had to coach her a little more. You could do this on a smaller scale first and then go larger, and even add different rooms of the house, and a cue like "Go Find." I only have 30 minutes at my visit, which also includes a potty break for both dogs separately - they walk at different paces - mail, garbage, water refresh, etc. So we did this in our remaining time.
Enrichment - The Cup Game Setup
Too hot outside, play a game inside where it's nice and cool. If Bella and Cosmo were food aggressive at all, I would have them do this separately.
I guess this is the cutest stare down I've ever received. We call them the Z-crew and we visit this trio Monday - Friday while Mom and Dad work to support these three. Marty, Rosie, and Tessie as expert treat manipulators.
When Levi serves it, Cooper returns it. The source of this discourse? Cooper is on Levi's bed.

A little look inside a visit with these two cuties: Shadow (pug) & Moo (Cane Corso)
How many of you can relate? You're running late. You're working overtime. You're stuck in traffic. You're child's game/rehearsal has run longer than expected. You want to stop for dinner. You want to stop at the grocery store or it's been just that kind of day where your mental and physical gas gauge are tapping the "Empty" mark.
Let us help.
We do more than just vacation pet care. We can pop-in for a dog walk. We can let your pup out for some pool time. We can play fetch or we can play with food. This is Buddy, an energetic golden retriever puppy, who was eating 3 meals a day. During lunch, we not only provided a break from his crate, but we served up lunch in a Kong Wobbler. I imagine that is more fun for you and your pup than rushing home to a stressful situation.
Stop and smell the roses!
Dogs use their noses for everything! Going on walks is great because it gives them time to sniff around in their outside environment, and learn and explore new things! This also helps them feel more safe and secure in their home environment.
One benefit of hiring a pet sitter to walk your dog is we can let your pup take as long as they want sniffing around! If you're ever in a bind or late to something and just don't have time to let your pup explore, you can rely on us to allow them that opportunity. Their noses are their lifelines, and getting to use those noses at their full potential is all they want to do when outside!
Halfway through the week, everybody!
Don't forget to consider your furry friends when making plans for the weekend! Leaving dogs locked inside a house for 6-12+ hours at a time can lead to accidents, anxiety, depression, and boredom in your pet. This is one of the many reasons why pet sits are such a great convenience for both you and them! You don't have to worry about coming home to a messy house, and they don't have to worry about waiting all day to use the bathroom or play with someone.
Many of our clients use our services to allow their dogs a break in the middle of the day while they are away at work. This gives your dog the chance to use the bathroom, get a good belly rub, play, be given medications if needed, and enjoy a little exciting pick-me-up halfway through your work hours!
Our friend, Patsy, loves her afternoon visit while mom and dad are working hard out of the house!!
Decisions, Decisions, Decision!! What's it gonna be?
Snack time is the best time for everybody! Miss Lily especially enjoys getting to choose which DreamBone she gets to have for dessert. We always make sure your kiddo is spoiled while you're away! After all, is it really a vacation if snacks aren't involved??
