Dark Magic C

After only completing her first event in August, Laurie Cameron’s Dark Magic C did not disappoint in the 5 yr old championships at MARS Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill p/b Brown Advisory - she received the highest conformation score (9.36) in a field of over 50 horses which is a major testament to Laurie’s breeding program and the many years she has spent perfecting her mare line. Congratulations, Laurie! Overall, we couldn’t be happier with Jelly’s performance in the dressage and jumping where she finished 13th in a huge field. This horse improves every day and we are looking forward to the bright future ahead of her 💃🏼 Thank you to Kelsie Haverlock for turning her out so beautifully and for playing an integral role in getting her to this point. Also thank you to LillianJHeard Eventing for helping us prepare for the jumping and to everyone else who has helped get this mare to the championships- it takes a village!

Coco was an absolute beast around the tough track at MARS Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill p/b Brown Advisory yesterday. I didn’t give her the ride she needed as she got tired later in the course but I have no doubt that we will put all the pieces together to complete a 5*. #SaturdaySpotlight ✨✨✨ I’m so happy to have the queen 👑, Coco, back in action! We had a show jump lesson with Lauren Hough earlier this week and Coco was clearly very excited to be back at it. A 2009 Hanoverian mare, Coco (Early Review C) was bred by her owner, Laurie Cameron, and I have been riding her since 2015. We have our sights set on the CCI4L at Morven Park International Equestrian Center this season. Stay tuned for updates!

#SaturdaySpotlight ✨✨✨ Meet Saphira! This lovely mare came to me mid-March and I am loving every minute of working with her. She is a coming 4-year-old Holsteiner by Calito, and is just such a sensible and uncomplicated horse for her young age. She is with me to get started well in her training, but she is also for sale! She enjoys hacking out, and jumping small jumps in the ring and XC field. She would be quite suitable for a young rider or amateur in a program who is looking to produce a quality young horse for any level of competition.
