We are planning to participate in the next season of Toss & Fetch. We will be playing at White County Dog Traing Academy (112 Webb Hill Rd, McRae, AR 72102).

It will be $25/season.

Dates are:

Wednesday June 12 6:30 PM
Saturday June 15 6:30 PM
Saturday June 22 6:30 PM
Saturday June 29 6:30 PM
Saturday July 6 6:30 PM

For those new to the scene, Toss & Fetch is league style play, so we are a team and we compete with other teams around the world.

The goal is to complete as many disc/Frisbee throws and have your dog catch the disc as possible in the alloted time. Seasons alternate between 60 and 90 seconds. This season is 90 seconds, which is a great for new players. The further you throw, the more points you get (assuming your dog catches the disc). We are happy to show anyone the ropes so please come out and give it a try!

You can use a long line if you are worried about your dog's recall and rollers are fair game. There will be a judge on the field with you, so just keep that in mind for dogs with stranger danger. While dogs run one at a time, there will be other dogs there and you will be passing by other dogs so please use your best judgement with dogs who are reactive towards other dogs. We reserve to right to request any dog stop play if the situation is unsafe.

If you haven't RSVPed you can still come! These things take a village: 417 S Victory Street (parking on Capitol Street).

Our biggest need is a location to play so we'll spend some time talking about options and recruiting help to contact locations. We'll also chat about the support we need to put on events (agenda in comments).

If you have ever put on an event of any kind, let alone a dog sport one, you know the amazing amount of work that goes into it. So we are beyond grateful for those that have volunteered to come out today. We also know that a lot of people want to be here but can't, so don't worry! We'll keep you in the loop. There will be other opportunities to help and play!

Our little group was honored and excited to perform at the City of Benton’s Third Thursday event this month!

The theme was all things pets, and there were dogs everywhere!
We did demos of obedience, tricks, Frizgility agility, high jumping and of course freestyle disc!
And then a little How-To clinic for those interested in participating!

Thanks to all who cameout, it was a beautiful evening!

One Dog's Bark Dog Training Academy is going to have a workshop introducing the games of Updog Challenge!

UpDog is a disc and dog sport organization. Their mission – "The mission of UpDog is to increase the number of dog owners participating in disc and dog sports."

Updog is an incredibly welcoming community that focuses on fun and supporting other competitors. To participate, dogs should be able to catch rollers or air throws.

This workshop will focus on introducing the rules and strategies for 10 Updog games (excluding freestyle, though we will discuss it), and we will have plenty of time for each team to practice each game.

Toss and Fetch League will be moved to Burns Park soccer fields due to the Little Rock marathon having multiple streets closed in the city tomorrow morning.

Exit I-40 at the burns park exit and follow the signs to the soccer fields.
We’ll meet about 10 am, see y’all there!

2023 Toss & Fetch Season 1 started today! We had a really fun group of people and pups and the weather was gorgeous. If you still want to join the season, it's not too late! We meet at the Murray Park Soccer Fields at 10 AM each Saturday. Message us for more details.
