I’ve just had very strange dealings with this real estate company.
The Broker HARCOURTS JADE Properties and her real estate representative are not from Borrego Springs.
Firstly, the realtor text to say she was coming over after staying in one of her clients homes for free. She surprised me by coming into my house unannounced via the back door with her tripod and camera. I was watching tv and she went right over to the fruit bowl on the counter and starting eating my fruit without asking. Then she sat down and chatted for over an hour supposedly to write up a description of my house and take photos. None of that happened as she said she was leaving and we would do it another day. This was the second visit the first one we sat outside in the porch and she said the stars were not aligned and would do it another day. Three months later even after listing the property with photos I had sent her she said she would get a company to come in and take professional photos Harcourts wanted me to pay for those photos even though I had sent her mine which were perfectly fine.. Secondly, the real estate agent wrote up a contract which I wanted for three months and didn’t alert me that she had made the contract for six months. and would NOT change it when I said I wasn’t happy with their services. They sent me a cancellation contract I could not sign on my phone and had a condition in it that if anyone else sold my house I’d have to pay 3% of the sale: the local brokers certainly wouldn’t hold me to anything of the sort.
There was also other weirdness the real
Estate agent was seen taking photos of houses in the park at 6am in the dark then changing clothes and taking more photos of houses. These things were noticed by other people in the park.
In all my years of buying and selling homes I’ve never encountered such weirdness. The realtor spent most of her time talking about the weird boyfriend and not taking photos or listing the home properly. The description was wrong many times and I had to get her to amend and update it.
Good luck if you ever use this company.
