I finally took pictures of the girls with their ribbons from the National.

Cinder participated in herding, agility, and conformation during the National, including sweepstakes. She had 1 of 2 qualifying runs in herding and finished her Started A Title!! I am very proud of her for working through her need to break up the sheep! She then qualified in her agility standard run with a 95, putting her in 1st place in her class and 1st Vallhund in her class for the National. She showed well and took 2nd in Veterans & Veteran Sweeps in conformation.

Juniper participated in herding and conformation. She had 2 qualifying runs to obtain her herding instinct title & the judges were impressed with how she worked the sheep. She participated in 5 days of conformation, which consisted of 7 times showing. Although she only took 3rd or 4th each show, the highlight was her getting best puppy bitch in sweeps and going best of opposite s*x!!!
For this only being the 3rd set of shows she's ever been to she handled it well and was always wagging her tail and happy in the ring!

I'm super proud of these pups! They traveled well and took everything in stride!

Tuckered pups (and humans)!! 2 more days of shows left!!

Awards update - Cinder won 2nd in veteran sweeps and in the veterans class at the National. Dzus has taken 3rd in the all-breed the last 3 days and 2nd in the National in his class. Juniper has also taken 3rd or 4th in her class in the all-breed shows, but took best sweeps puppy bitch and Sweeps BOW at the National!

Although the pups haven't received a win in the ring (Juniper aside) - I am exceptionally happy with how well these young dogs have handled themselves and that we've accomplished wins in our sporting events! Obligatory ribbon photos to follow.........

My little nugget completed her weaves today in standard novice agility!! For those who know how she's struggled with them, this is a HUGE accomplishment!!! Not only did she get a Q on her run, she received a 95 score and won 1st place in her class & 1st place Vallhund for the National!!! Super proud mama moment!!! Trying to get pictures after a long day had proven difficult with a pooped pup lol!!
