February Transport Route

We’re heading out February 4th - 12th with a new name but the same great service!! I know my November/December route got a little crazy and I’ve taken some time to make some changes. As you can see...the business was formed as D&S Pet Transport. In November...D&S (Darrick & Sherri) dissolved and to be honest it was more difficult than I expected. In addition to my transition, there were snow storms, loss of cell reception, and just plain poor planning on my part. For my January route, I only transported for my regular breeders and the rescues that I transport for regularly. I used that transport to try out different schedules and communication methods. Other than some ice in North Carolina & Virgina and a LOT of rain...the new routines went well!!

D&S Pet Transport is now Best Friends Express Pet Transport. Each transport will be limited to no more than 8 pets at any time during our journey to allow for extra time with each pet during stops and to minimize exposure. Pick ups and deliveries will be made between 7 am and 10 pm unless other arrangements are made with clients. Regular potty breaks will be at 6 am, 10 am, 2pm, 6 pm and 10 pm. Feedings will be at 6 am and 6 pm unless otherwise noted in feeding instructions.

The only issue I haven’t figured out is loss of cell service. I have two phones from two different providers and there are still locations where I have NO service at all. Most places I will have texting OR messaging, but there will be places where I can only communicate when I can find local wi-fi to use. Please keep in mind that I can have up to 40 or more parties to communicate with during a complete route. I will communicate often with those who have a pet with me at that given time. I will communicate often if I am within 24 hours of your pick-up or delivery. If your pick-up is more than 48 hours out, I will communicate as I can.

I’m really excited to be leaving out for February!! Other than a few select locations, the weather looks good and there shouldn’t be any delays!! Looking forward to seeing everyone!!
