URGENT PLEA: 3 SWEET SENIOR CATS NEED YOUR HELP THIS WEEKEND! Funds and Fosters needed!
These three loving senior cats at Carson Animal Care Center are in desperate need of rescue. They've been waiting nearly a month for rescue, but have been passed over and they are now on their second notification from the shelter to be rescued (or they will be euthanized for time and space).
Princessa, Smokey and Whiskers! These gentle souls—each affectionate, sweet, and deserving—don’t deserve to end their lives in a shelter. They deserve soft beds, kind words, and the chance to live out their golden years surrounded by love.
We’re running out of time—here’s how you can help:
🐾 FOSTERS URGENTLY NEEDED: Can you open your home to one of these deserving souls? A temporary safe haven could save their lives. Fill out our foster application today: www.carsoncats.com/foster.
💸 DONATE TO SAVE THEM: Pull fees and vital vet care, including senior bloodwork, cost around $250 per cat. Every dollar makes a difference. Donate now: www.carsoncats.com/donate.
They’ve been waiting for nearly a month—don’t let their story end in heartbreak. Even if you can’t foster, your donation or share could be the lifeline they need.
🙏 This is their last chance. Please help us save them.

COME MEET BIG BLUE! Looking for an ADOPTER OR FOSTER!!!!
EL SEGUNDO PETSMART
730 S Sepulveda Blvd,
El Segundo, CA 90245
Every Saturday or Sunday , 12:00 pm -4:00pm
or by appt email [email protected]
Sweet 2 year old Big Blue has been with us since April 6th, when he was dumped at the Petsmart parking lot in an undersized cloth carrier with a big wound on his neck. The Petsmart was going to call Animal Control to take him but we took him in to give him the best chance. He went to our vet where they cared for his wound and then we got him neutered, etc.
Big Blue is currently been at the El Segundo Petsmart. He is such a DOLL and LOVES other cats - he is kitten-like and loves to play and wrestle with all the cats in the cat center. He has been in a cage for for nearly 5 months as we have not been able to find a foster for him and we are baffled why no one has adopted him yet. He is the BEST boy - loveable like a dog, funny, and would love to be in a HOME with another cat or kitten.
Please come meet Big Blue TODAY at the EL Segundo Petsmart from 1-4. He is actually there every day and every Saturday and Sunday we have adoptions 12-4pm and you can stop by any time and talk to one of our adoption representatives to meet Big Blue or have any questions!

The shelter put out a medical plea for Mr. Rogers on Friday for rescue. He came in as a stray and was severely emaciated and dehydrated with a laceration on his leg. The shelter is not able to give him the vetting and diagnosis he needs and reached out for help. They estimate him to be around 10 years old.
Mr. Rogers will initially need senior bloodwork, fluids and x-rays so we can rule out kidney disease, cancer and and dental issues.
If you can help donate ANY amount to support his rescue, please go the link in our bio or www.carsoncats.com/donate. You can also venmo @carsoncatsrescue

LOOK WHO IS UP AND WALKING!!!! GO CACHANT GO!!!
Please help us raise more funds for this fighter's continued care! Please go to www.carsoncats.com/donate
We pulled CACHANT last Tuesday after the shelter alerted us that he was set to be euthanized due to a severe URI and not eating for 3 days...Well upon rescuing him, we read in the medical notes that it was not 3 days but 7 days of not eating!!! And Cachant's demise happened right after the shelter sedated him to check the wound on his head. Our veterinarian was quite surprised at the drug the shelter vet used to sedate Cachant because it is known to be very unpredictable and rarely used because of that. It seemed like after Cachant's was sedated, he stopped eating, lost 2 lbs within a week, went into renal failure and developed severe ulcers in his mouth.
When our vet took his blood on intake she said it was "very very bad. Kidney values too high to read, White Blood cells are over 34 thousand indicating a bad infection and he has a heart murmur. Humane euthanasia is the most logical option." Our vet (knowing our rescue so well) knew that we just were not going to give up without trying. We opted to hospitalize and throw the kitchen sink at him.
Cachant did not move the first night but by the next morning he was able to lift his head. By the 4th day of IV fluids, although still not eating, he had the strength to walk (see video). And today he ate for the first time!!
Cachant still has a ways to go, but it's a miracle to see him walking!!! We are in awe of his fighter spirit. We are in need to raise more funds to keep him hospitalized this week and give him that 9th live. We need to raise at least another $2200 for his care.
If you can donate at all, please go to www.carsoncats.com/donate.
All donations are tax-deductible.
