Sorry I have not responded or posted in a long time. I have taken a break. I am looking for a male Bichon that is located relatively close that meets my quality standards and an owner to work with as well. I can see why my brother had his own male and female. He had more space than me and a fenced in yard. I wanted to honor his memory by continuing his breeding. It's not as easy as I thought.

I haven't found a male for April. I can see why many breeders have their own males.

I've been teaching myself how to groom April and Autumn. Here is the before and after of Autumn (April's daughter). She has lost a lot of her apricot/tan/orange color she was born with. She is almost 6 months old.

INVITE FOR INPUT: Long nails are not good for our four-legged friends. You can trim them yourself or bring them to a groomer or vet clinic. Some people prefer nail grinders over clippers. What do you recommend?

Dogs that spend time outdoors and walking on rocks and concrete wear down their nails naturally. Little dogs often spend a lot of time on carpet and don't wear down their nails naturally.

August is now officially named Teddy. His new family picked him up today. They were so excited to finally meet him in person. They have watched him on Berta's page since birth and knew Ed.
