Remi is an adorable adult spayed female with a unique blend of beagle and terrier. This beautiful girl has overcome some challenges but has emerged stronger and even more lovable. Her journey at the shelter began with a severe skin and ear infection, but thanks to the dedicated shelter staff and a vet visit, Remi has recovered remarkably well. Though it was heartbreaking to see the condition in which Remi arrived, her spirit never wavered. She has consistently been happy, playful, and a true joy to be around, spreading positivity and love to everyone she meets. The transformation she has undergone is a testament to her resilience and the nurturing environment provided by the shelter. Remi is potty trained and ready to become a cherished member of a loving family. She would thrive in a home where she receives constant affection and attention, as she loves to connect with people and be part of daily activities. Her playful nature makes her an ideal companion for anyone looking to add joy and laughter to their life.

All dogs and puppies come spayed and neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fees are $75.00 for adult dogs and $100.00 for puppies at the time of adoption. Our adoptions are done by approved applications, so you must apply and be approved before being able to meet any of our dogs or puppies. Today is World Spay Day, a day dedicated to reminding everyone about the benefits and need to spay and neuter your pets!

Spaying and neutering not only eliminates the risk of certain cancers, but also reduces the number of homeless pets that sit in shelters to wait for their adoptive families. These are just a few of our past pets who have had to wait for over one year each for their forever homes. While these pets have all been adopted by now, no one deserves to sit and wait❤

A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Supporters!

We are beyond grateful for the kindness and generosity of our community! Recently, we asked for donations of Kuranda Beds to help keep our shelter pets comfortable, and you came through in a big way—providing much-needed beds for both our cats and dogs. Seeing our animals rest easy on their new beds is truly heartwarming!

We also want to send a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our Valentine’s fundraiser! Because of your support, we raised $475 to help care for our shelter pets. Whether you donated for a loved one or simply to show some love for animals in need, your generosity makes a real difference.

It's , Valentine's Week Edition!

❤Reno was adopted on 1/25/25 and was renamed to Squeegee... he wins the Best Name Award hands down!!!

❤Frito (nka Jack) was adopted back on 9/5/2023 and recently got a new big sister! Evangeline joined his house on 1/19/25.

❤Petunia is now known as Piper after being adopted on 12/4/24 and looks to have the most amazing spot for a mid-day nap!
