Kittens are hitting their afternoon milk drunk slump at SCAS. Something we can all relate to, am I right? It may be mid October but kittens are still coming in but watching these tiny lives flourish makes all the work we do worth it 😻

Cam Slo-mo
Cam has really been enjoying this nice weather lately! He is the sweetest guy once he gets to know you and enjoys running around in the yard playing and having dog friends around. He just needs time to warm up to new people, but man is it worth it when he does! He knows sit and is redirected very easily when he gets distracted seeing dog friends! Cam would thrive in a home with another dog and with patient people who want to give Cam the time and confidence he needs (and deserves!).

Aria with Breakfast
Aria wanted to show everyone just how easy it is to add in mental stimulation to a dog's day (and slow down an excited eater😂)! If you look closely, you can see her little bits of kibble inside the box. Digging through helps her use her nose and her brain as she tries to figure out the best way to find all the pieces! If you try this idea with your own pets at home, make sure they are supervised so that they don't ingest any of the "stuffing"😊

Oh Muriel... this girl may have the grumpiest face, but she sure loves to have fun! These feathers are her FAVORITE along with belly rubs and chin scratches. Just look at her go!
Muriel has been in the shelter since January of this year. She is oh so patiently waiting for her fur-ever home. We estimate her to be around 2 years old. She is quiet, loving, and while she may take some time to warm up, she'll be your best friend.
