Big Update on Stella 🐾
Yes, there’s ugly in this world—but there are still good people too. And if you make every move in life based on assuming the worst in others, you miss the good. I am not a bad person. My intentions with Stella were never about money, never about flipping her, never about anything selfish. I was making sure she landed somewhere safe, calm, and healthy—somewhere she could decompress instead of being passed around.
Unfortunately, my intentions were misunderstood and twisted, so here’s the truth: Stella is now OURS. My fiancé made the call: “F**k it. Let’s keep her.” And we did. She’s already super attached to my daughter, and we are thrilled to welcome her as the newest little mascot for Paws and Tings. Her spay is scheduled, everything is legit, and I have done exactly what I said I was going to do for her.
This whole situation is a perfect example of what’s wrong with the world: people assuming the worst, refusing to see the good, and disrespecting those who are trying to do right. I’ve worked with dogs for 10 years, and I’ve never been treated like that. But I refuse to carry hate. I trust God, I trust my heart, and I trust that being a good person is more powerful than letting the negativity of others define me.
Stella is home. She’s safe. She’s loved. And she’s ours. 💛🐶

With the freeze coming, now is the perfect time to get your pup cleaned up before the cold sets in ❄️🐶
✨ Availability:
TODAY after 2 PM
SATURDAY (tomorrow) – LSU area
SUNDAY & MONDAY: No appointments due to freezing temperatures
TUESDAY: Appointments resume starting at 10 AM
⚠️ Cold Weather Policy:
During cold weather, I only book appointments when the sun is at its peak, so availability is very limited.

Warm water baths
Warm air dryer
Protective coverings used at all times
Your pup will stay comfortable, warm, and safe throughout the service.

Puppy Rehoming Post 🐶 (Please Read Carefully)

This sweet girl is Stella, and she will be available for rehoming once she has fully recovered from her spay in February. She is currently about 3 months old.
Stella will be spayed and fully up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines before going to her new home. Because of this, there will be a rehoming fee of $200. This fee is non-negotiable and helps ensure she goes to a serious, responsible home.

A little about her:
• Very sweet and gentle
• Extremely attached to my daughter
• Doing amazing with potty training (she signals at the door to go out)
• Still young, so she will need continued training and structure
• Currently starting crate training and learning routines

Important Rehoming Requirements:
I will be very selective about where Stella goes. As a vet tech, I am fully aware of the risks dogs face when placed irresponsibly — including backyard breeding and bait dog situations. Because of this:
✔️ Vet references will be required
✔️ Additional screening/questions will be part of the process
✔️ A safe, stable, long-term home is non-negotiable
✔️ This is NOT first-come, first-served
I didn’t save her just to place her somewhere unsafe or unwanted again. My goal is to make sure she ends up in a home that truly wants her and will care for her properly.

🐶 Found Puppy – Now Safe 🐾
This sweet girl was found abandoned and is now safe in my care. She will be staying with me for a while to decompress, receive proper care, and get settled before going to her forever home.
Please understand: she will not be rehomed to just anyone.
• There will be a rehoming fee (intentionally high to ensure a responsible home)
• If I have never worked with you or bathed your dog before, I likely will not consider you
• I will be asking for vet records, information on current/past pets, and general lifestyle details
• She is not spayed yet, and I fully plan to get her spayed
• This will be a carefully chosen home, not first-come, first-served

💛 Care & Vet Support 💛

While she’s with me, she will need a vet visit, vaccines, and a spay. If anyone would like to help support her care during this time, it would be greatly appreciated. Any contribution helps as I prepare her for a safe, permanent home.
