Our last boarder has left this morning. We are 100% closed now. Property is under contract with an April 1st closing date. Lots of emotion's. But excited for the next chapter in our lives. Especially since it comes with an indoor in WV. 😁 Gonna miss everyone that we have met here and all the fun we had at the barn and events. ❤️ Ya all. Keep riding. 🐎

If anyone is looking for a turn key boarding facility for Christmas our 160 acre stable is for sale. Pasture boarding was always full and successfully hosted gymkhana's. Stable has been profitable for us. No barbed wire. Entire property has electric horse fence. Two hay storage barns. Each pen have feed rooms and tack rooms. Lots of gates for easy access. Tractor barn. Four car detached work shop. Automatic waterers. Electric and water to the bigs barns. Arena with some amazing natural footing. House is 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom. Finished basement. Including a storm shelter. 3 car oversize garage, fits our dually, car, and small SUV with plenty of space to open doors and walk around. Small green house. Small pool. Hot tub. Dog room with dog door into outside kennel. All the cabinets in the kitchen have roll out draws. Back up generator, powers water heaters and house. Propane tank is owned and buried, no eye sore. Lots of little extras. I could go on and on. If wasn't for husband new job in West Virginia I would never leave this place.

Thank you everyone that came out for our last event. I don't have the words to express how much it means to me that all of you took the time to make our last event the best we had. 66 riders, almost 3 times our normal amount. It breaks my heart to be leaving and this our last event. You all braved the sudden rain storm and kept pushing through until the last rider finished their last round in the dark. Everyone was amazing with all the issues we seemed to run into today. Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Not much time left to get your pre entries in and save a $$$. Got till midnight. 😉

Remember high score is based on same horse/rider combo. No switching horses between events. Each combo with count for its own score. However riders can ride multiple horses in all events and they all count.

We are also giving out high point and reserve high point.

Our last event is coming up this Sunday. Our wild card will be the number 5 on the website. Was wondering if you all would want me to add the 6th wild card into the show. Have 6 events instead of 5. Let me know your thoughts. We can also see how fast the day goes and if goes quickly then maybe add it in. Or we run standard 5. Then while we are counting scores set up the Oct wild card and let people run it. Just for fun, still place it and pass out ribbons but doesn't really count for anything. Let me know your thoughts. 🙂

10 days away from our last event. Going to be bittersweet. Gonna miss everyone that has supported us over the years. We will have high point and high point reserve this time. And something for all the leadliners. Going to also have a tack and furniture for sale. Hate leaving my horse family. 😭. Not forget to pre enter on the website, by email, or text, or PM. Supposed to be 83 degrees that day.

Chinook Winds Riding Stable will be closing down. We are selling the property and moving. September 12th gymkhana will be our last event. We will also have a mix of a tack/garage sale at the last gymkhana.

Thank you to everyone that has supported us. Came to our shows. Boarded with us. Taken lesson. And everything else in-between.

This was not an easy decision to make but Paul received a job offer he can't refuse and will be the best thing for our family in the long run.

Two weeks away from our next Gymkhana. Remember to pre enter to save money. Even if something comes up and you don't make the Gymkhana, you can still pre enter, no penalties for not showing up. But please give us a heads up your not going to make it. 🙂 Yes, mules and donkeys are welcomed.

Gonna be a nice day for a Gymkhana. With the rain last night should have zero dust issue today. Might adjust order events and do barrels and poles last. Come out and have some fun with us today.
