Another thank you to all my previous and current clients!! You have been so amazing and kind! After much consideration, I will be temporarily (hopefully) closing Delightful Dogs starting June 1st. I will be homeschooling both my children starting this summer and will be a “full time mom” and need to focus on my family. I’m giving current clients priority for the remainder of May. Thank you for understanding! I hope to be able to open up again in Sept, but it will depend on how everything is going at home. I so appreciate the last 6 years! Tehachapi (and surrounding areas- I have people who travel to work with me- I’m so touched by this) has some amazing people and I’m so blessed to have worked with all of you!

I want to thank current clients and people who have reached out to me asking about dog training. I ALSO want to apologize if it takes me longer than 24 hours to get back to you. I run my business by myself and I have a family and I have started homeschooling my oldest child a few months ago... which means that I have been extremely limited on when I can work with clients. I ask that you would be patient with me. I am doing my best I can. As of right now I am only available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:45AM-1:30. If you can't have me work with you in those times, then I am probably not the dog trainer for you... unfortunately. HOURS will most likely change over the summer! Sunday we added a new puppy to our family! Her name is Cassie and she’s been amazing! Welcome to the family Cassie!

Paprika- this boy is sooo handsome… I mean look at him… gorgeous! He is quite playful… we laughed most of the time I was training him… I don’t know if we got far in training, but that’s my fault… just enjoying his playful antics! 😂
He is also working on touch and sit… sitting if he wants something and holding a sit. He will be a great companion dog. And he will make you laugh!

Dotty is my personal favorite (am I allowed to say that?)! She has a fun sweet personality!! She kept wanting to learn more stuff, when I had to move on to another puppy! She’s a quick learner… she would be a great agility dog or rally… anything that’ll keep her mind occupied… she just loves it! She’s been learning sit and touch… today specifically we worked on adding a duration (few sec) to the sit (this is a stay, without the cue) and adding the “sit” cue. She quickly picked up on if she wants something from me - she sits. 😁 She’s doing wonderful at touch… and creating distance… running for me when I put my hand down.

I’ve been working with Coco and she’s is such a smart girl! Today we started putting sit on cue!! I was soo excited to get this started. Also, I’ve been teaching her “touch” (a great recall cue)… and she’s doing fabulous with this as well!! She is a sweet sweet girl!! Can’t recommend that someone snag her up fast!! She will make someone (or family) an amazing dog!! Sooo much potential!!

This has become my favorite part of my job!! I love visiting with these sweet pups… Boundless Joy Aussies knows how to have good breeding genes (testing and more), exposing them to different sounds and things (great socialization)… everyone who gets 1 of these pups are getting a special dog… each 1 of these puppies are well rounded!

Update: Sweet Dolly delivered 8 wonderful puppies in the middle of the night. She’s a natural mom… you’d never know this was her first litter.

Momma and babies are doing fantastic!!
