Those pictures will be posted sometime soon. It's been tough the last few days. I had to make the choice to remove the ventilation tube for my mom. She passed away on Sunday, December 8 at 12:01. She will be buried on Friday with a Celebration of Life service on Monday. I will continue to give these kitties the best care I can until they find their furever homes, even if that means they will be here forever.

When I get the chance, I am going to start posting pictures of the kitties that we have that still need homes...even if I have to spend an hour making scheduled posts. I know it's been awhile, but even while I try to keep up with work and checking in on my mom, there are 15 kitties that need to find homes. My mom would tell you that I am very picky about about who adopts from us. Primarily, for me, I want the cat to be a part of your family, not a playful distraction or occasional entertainment. Definitely, not a barn cat.

My mom was always more of the customer service expert. She loves to hear the stories or to share information. I've become a little better at it since working at Dollar General, but it can still be a chore.

Anyway, if I am going to be able to manage working and taking care of my mother's future, I need to be more active in finding homes for our beauties. Thank you.

This is not a cat related post today. I am asking for prayer for my mother, Shirley Palmer. She is in Butterworth Hospital ICU right now as she had a stroke on Sunday. She was intubated today because she had mucus filling her lung. She was also going to be getting an eeg on because they thought she might be having a seizure. Thank you.

We're going to attempt to get back into the habit of coming into TSC to find homes for these kitties. This year was difficult as my mom, Shirley, had gotten Covid back in February and it took a long time for her to recover from it. Also, it's been fun for me, Angela, to juggle taking care of the cats, my mom, and working at my job this year.

Keep watching for our next event. We're going to aim for every 2 to 4 weeks again.
