Hello everyone! Say hello to Oscar-Meyer. He is a 12 year old Chiweenie that was recently brought to Tuscola County Animal Shelter. Unfortunately, his elderly owner was no longer able to care for him and figured it would be best to allow us to find him a new home. Get your dogs ready so they can get their 2025 county license.
NO examination fee!
CASH ONLY!

Caseville Small Animal Clinic will be at our Dog Walk event this year to give vaccinations to your dog!
They will be at Ackerman Park in Elkton on Friday, August 30th, from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM. No appointment is needed! Dogs MUST be on a leash. The vaccinations that will be available are Distemper, Distemper + Lepto, Bordetella, Rabies, and they will be just $20 each.

If you would like your dog to receive the 3-year rabies vaccination, please bring proof of prior rabies vaccinations!

Reese is a young pit mix who had a rough start in life running wild in a cornfield many months ago. In spite of that, she is happy, energetic and loves to be outside!
Reese is highly trainable and listens to commands.

We are looking for passionate volunteers! It’s a great opportunity for those who love animals, but circumstances make it impossible to own or afford. Both you and the animals would benefit from your love and care. Monday through Friday 8am to noon we would appreciate assistance with cleaning or 1pm to 4pm to socialize the animals. If you would like to volunteer you must be 18+ years or accompanied by a parent/ guardian. The fur babies in the shelter would love the help and care that you have to offer. Visiting at Medilodge in Cass City with the patients for the holidays GG is available for adoption at Tuscola County Animal Control she is super friendly around 6-8 years old female pit bull mix. No cat home and dog selective. Thank you Medilodge for having us out again for a visit and help brighten the patients day Merry Christmas and Happy New Year’s Please stop out to the shelter and visit with GG and the rest of the pets at the shelter

If you’d like to come and walk our dogs, we are here 7 days a week and our animals would love to meet you and spend time with you! Send us a message if you’re interested in volunteering! 😊 Piper has been here for quite some time and is ready for a family of her own. She is tired of being in the shelter. Help us find her the perfect family. Piper needs a home with no other female dogs and no cats. She loves kids and playing with toys!💜
