Update: The Talk Shop Lounge is still taking donations for Greenfield (and they serve a fabulous lunch menu!) We will continue to collect the basic everyday needs as we go. THANK YOU!

The caring paws at Play at Home Petsitting have voted on our next outreach project. We will collect donations as long as needed for the folks in Greenfield.

If you can donate any of these items, please leave them near your door. I'll collect them when I care for your pets or bring your pups home from daycare.
The daycare pups will deliver them to a drop-off site on different days as we collect these necessities.

We are ready for The Oscars! The daycare pups have been celebrating all week with parties, special treats, and each accepted an award. A few were lucky to spot local celebrities-Gunther Brooks and Sadie (she needs no last name) at Jett and Monkey's!

THANK YOU to Jett and Monkey's for stocking the awards, Hannah Wright, and The Animal Lifeline Thrift Shop for helping us find the perfect sparkly gowns, and the tuxes were also locally sourced from donors who wish to remain anonymous. We enjoyed being off-leash because Kevin, Chester and Claire allowed us to party in their yards. Thank you!!

Poppy visited the Animal Lifeline Thrift Shop today. To Ashley, Suzy, Zoe, Mercedes, and all of the volunteers: The store looks great! It was so easy for a tall, spunky girl like Poppy to move through every aisle (even breakables!) while practicing her manners.

Thank you for your awesome customer service, and attention to Poppy today.
She treasures her silicone flamingo ice mold she chose as her prize for good behavior.

This story was reported around noon today. We've heard of the dog flu, but this illness is evidently something different. The article in The New York Times reports cases in Colorado, Massachusetts, Oregon & Rhode Island but experts assume it is much more widespread. Be careful as you're traveling with your pups and mingling with others.

TO PARENTS OF MY DAYCARE DOGS: if yours is coughing, sneezing or displays other symptoms, please contact me to cancel play time that day. I need to notify all other parents if their pup(s) have been exposed.

Kaiser, Gunther, and Kimball are teaching new friend Charlotte the Corgi how to work behind the counter at Jett and Monkey's. "Work behind the counter" is dog code for "C'mon Charlotte! We taste test the treats, greet customers, and then nap." She did great on her first day!
