This dog is currently at my house. He followed my neighbor here while she was out walking. He came from the Flippo/ Lewis Mcgee Rd area. Anyone know where he belongs?

‼️ Help Needed: Large Live Traps & Kennel Panel with Gates ‼️

As we prepare for the colder weather, we need your help to keep our animals safe and warm. We are looking for:

Large live traps (to safely catch bigger dogs)

Kennel walls with gates (to set up secure spaces in the garage for our animals during freezing temperatures).

These items will help us bring our animals indoors and give them the shelter they deserve when the weather turns dangerous.

Found: Sweet Male Pitbull on Highway 82 Near Nursing Home in Lynchburg.

This friendly and beautiful boy was found near the nursing home on Highway 82. He was wearing a shock collar, a leash, and another K-9 collar, with food tied to his collar, according to a witness.

He is currently safe and being held at our facility. If this is your dog, please contact us at 931-434-7508. You will need to provide proof of ownership to claim him. Let’s work together to get this sweet boy back home where he belongs.

If he is not claimed within 7 days, we will begin looking for a loving forever home for him. We understand that things happen in life. So if this is your dog and you can no longer keep him. Please just contact us. So we know his story, and we know what to tell his future adoptor about him.

🎄 Meet These Two Handsome Little Boys! Scruffy and Tebow!🎄

Late one night, these sweet pups were left at someone’s house with nowhere to go. Thankfully, they’re now safe with us at Friends of Animals, where we’re giving them all the love and care they deserve!

These adorable boys are believed to be Heeler/Terrier mixes and, according to the vet, they’ll likely grow to be medium to large dogs. They have wonderful personalities—loving, sweet, and full of charm! They’ll be ready to go to their forever homes just in time for Christmas!

If you’re interested in adopting one (or both!) of these perfect little guys, the first step is to fill out an application on our website. We’ll conduct vet checks and ensure they find homes that are the best fit for them and their adopters.
