The surrenders never stop. We need your help so we can save more Danes. These loving beauties are our current rescues ready for families of their own and furever homes.

All of our Danes are spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines and heartworm tested/on prevention. We do adopt to our of area/out of state families but the adoption takes place at the rescue in Palm Beach County.

If you’re ready to adopt your new family member, please submit an application. Once approved, we’ll set up a meet and greet for your family and current dogs to come to the rescue. If you’re already approved, please reach out.

Today little Peaches was brought to us she is 10 weeks old and only 14lbs. She has sores all over her body and is now on antibiotics to help her heal.

The 4th of July is fast approaching, many pet owners (including myself) think about their fur babies reactions to neighborhood fireworks.

Here’s a trick that works, desensitize before the event. Play YouTube of fireworks and just leave it on while you go about your day. As they get use to it, raise the volume. Offer high-value treats to distract or reward your baby. This truly works and it’s simple, Lola was nervous when I started this a few years ago, now is non-reactive. We play the videos before New Year’s Eve and the 4th of July.

We lost Charlie , Oliver both lived to be 11 years old. We also said goodbye to our GDRSF mascot Blu last week. May all 3 wonderful boys play together in peace in heaven. We will see you when we get up there. Love you guys.

Got a call from Miami this morning on 2 danes hit by a car and left on the side of the road. The male didn't make it he had a broken back. The girl they named Scarlet is doing good no broken bones blood work good little elevated liver enzymes we are picking her up tonight from the ER vet.

New arrival Little mantle girl named Baby. She has an injured eye which is infected and she is blind in that eye. But she is a happy little 5 week old puppy. Update Jackie aka Babe is now 19 weeks old healthy and ready for her new family. Please submit application to adopt if interested in adding a new member to your family.

Willie was found in miami last week hit by car no owner found. He is in a foster home getting better. Saturday we took in Delilia. Sunday 3 danes from MDAS. Johnny, Robby, Sally and today picking another one up from Lee county. Bella is on her way to the rescue now.

Tilly, Marie & Odin are now ready for their furever familys. Tilly is a 15 month old black female sweet girl.Marie is a 1 year old chocolate female. Odin is a 16 week old black male. All of them are very friendly great with cats kids and other dogs.

We took in a dane on Monday 3 year old female Venus with a badly infected toe. Vet visit for spay turned out to be a 3 -1/2 hour surgery for the toe removal, and she had puppies inside of her that where dead and a ruptured uterus. This required a full hysterectomy and clean out. These puppies have been in her a long time! Shocked she survived. She is one lucky girl. She is a fighter and is trying to recover. Please say a prayer for her and that her toe biopsy comes back negative. If you can help donate please anything will help. Thank you.

Update on the Blue family.

Petunia, Nemo, Fiona, Paris, and Bruits have all found, and are doing great in their forever homes!!

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped save 5 beautiful souls yesterday from horrific living conditions.

Our Anna for coordinating from the passenger seat on her way home from a well deserved vacation.

Michelle & Carrie who were the brains and muscle behind getting these petrified babies out of the house, into their vehicle and then into the safety of our fenced yard and trailer.

Dawn who made first contact and drove the 2nd get away car.

Julie who helped keep Eddie and Scooby Too calm while these babies were entering their new safe haven. As well as helping get the new one’s settled in.

Rescue is not always pretty. It takes a village and we sincerely appreciate everyone who helped.

These babies are beginning to decompress today. They are up this morning checking out their new play area and barking at Anna!
