FULL TUMMIES!!

Pets and People of the Pantry.

We had a wonderful night rolling out our new warehouse distribution format. ❤️🐾

As most of you know, pets must be spayed / neutered to be eligible for continued pantry service and we do our best to help our clients find low-cost resources to help get this done.

Going forward, we’ll have two separate “walk up” lines.

One “green line” for returning clients who have made progress toward the spay / neuter requirements (must have certification in-hand available to show counselor.)

And one “red line” for new clients and for returning clients who do not yet have all their certificates of spay / neuter. Any client still working on compliance will be able to speak with a SNIP counselor for low cost options and are expected to make progress by their next visit for continued service.

Our “Fast Pass” clients (all pets are fixed / vaccinated) will now be served more quickly through our drive-thru line at the Monday night Alamos pantries by showing their yellow fast pass (MUST bring fast pass card for drive-thru service)

NOTE: for the Saturday pantries at Fresno Animal Center, there will be a similar set up but without a separate Fast Pass line.

FULL TUMMIES!!

Oh boy… big night. A couple hundred clients translates into almost a thousand pets that are no longer hungry and no longer in danger of being surrendered to the overcrowded shelter.

Thank you to everyone who helped us make this happen. For less than $10 we can feed a pet or two in need for a whole month and keep them where they belong… home.

We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit that has no government or grant assistance. We rely on the kindness and generosity of the animal loving community.

We provide pet food to those families and individuals who have fallen on hard times, so they do not have to make the difficult decision of surrendering their beloved pet to the already overcrowded shelters.

In order to be eligible for Pantry service, all pets must be spayed/neutered and vaccinated and we partner with local organizations to get this done at a cost that our clients can afford.

We hope to collect 300 items of warmth (beds, blankets, and sweaters) for pets in need this winter.
