We make sure they're healthy and work with any physical or behavioral issues before we adopt them out to approved homes. We are a no-kill organization (we don't euthanize unless medically necessary). Once we take in an animal,

he/she is safe for the rest of their lives. We rely solely on donations to cover all the expenses involved with their care etc. Donations can be made via Paypal Giving Fund

Please do not hurt me or my mom. ♥️🦊♥️
We just temporarily moved to the neighborhood so we could be “safe.”
If you have suddenly seen a fox in the yard near your home, there is a good reason for this.
It is denning season. Between the end of March and early April, a mother fox will give birth to between 4 and 5 kits (a baby fox is called a kit).
A coyote will often find a fox den, dig out the babies, and kill them.
A mother fox knows this and will frequently choose a den site close to people, away from where coyotes generally go.
A fox will often den under a porch, shed, garage, barn, or side of a hill, trying to keep her little family safe.
Please offer them a short-term rental because this is not a permanent situation.
If you are lucky enough to see how beautiful an adult fox is, or witness the kits playing (at a distance of course), you will be glad you did!
It is not uncommon for Red Foxes to change dens several times during the season, so you may not see them for long.
Kits are slow to develop and will not leave the den until they are about a month old. Foxes do not live in a den year-round, only when a mother has babies.
During the summer as the kits grow older, you will see less and less of them, and by September everyone will have packed up and moved on. Please do not call a service to “relocate them”, they will often be killed.
If you see a fox during the day, it does not mean she is rabid. A mother fox works tirelessly to feed her kits and will often be out during daylight hours foraging for food.
Foxes are omnivores, generally feeding on berries, grasses, and small rodents. They are solitary and prefer to be left alone.
They do not want to hunt and eat your children, mate with your dog, or kill your cat.
A fox just wants a place to raise her family safely, please allow her to do that.

Coyote mating season is here! For roughly the next 4 to 6 weeks coyotes will be out and about searching for mates. Coyote breeding typically peaks in late February and early March, the gestation period averages 58 to 63 days.

You may see coyotes more than you usually do during the day in wooded areas as well as in neighborhoods and back yards. During this time it is very important to keep a close eye on our pets. Cats should be kept inside if possible, especially during low light hours such as early morning and early evening. Dogs of all sizes should be kept on a leash and closely monitored when out in the yard. As pet owners it is our responsibility to take care of our pets and keep them out of harms way and it is not abnormal for coyotes to protect themselves if threatened. In addition, small dogs can be seen as easy prey for coyotes even in back yards - coyotes can easily clear a 6 foot fence. It is recommended that you go outside with your dog. Before letting your dog out and while he/she is out there, check and even make noise to scare off any coyotes that may be in the area. Even the presence of a person in an enclosed yard may deter a coyote from entering.

Hi All,

I'm posting this in hopes we might find a "furever" home or even another rescue that might have room for this sweetheart in danger of being euthanized in South Korea. Here's all the info I have. Please watch the video's....

Hi!

I'm currently in the process of adopting a dog from a shelter in South Korea, and I have perhaps an odd request. I'm approved for adoption and there are two dogs that I'm between - one is a better fit for me because he's a puppy (and I have a bunny that he needs to be raised to get along with) and will be smaller when full grown (and I live in an apartment and can't have large dogs), and the other is about 55-60 lbs and is a year old and seems to have the sweetest personality. The larger dog will likely be euthanized if I don't adopt him, because of his size (since everyone lives in apartments in the city), and doesn't have any other inquiries. I live in NYC but I'm from Newtown and wanted to reach out to a few rescues to see if someone would be willing to take him to adopt him out here, as he'd be much more likely to be adopted in this environment. Is that something you would consider? There is a flight volunteer who can bring the dogs over on 5/18, and I can coordinate bringing him to the rescue here from the airport. I know this is probably not an ordinary request, but I want to pick the dog that's a better fit and can't do so knowing this guy will be euthanized.

Thank you

VERY IMPORTANT ~ It's that time of year peeps..... If you see a dead or injured opossum on the side of the road, please, please check to make sure it's not a mama with babies in her pouch. Don't be skeered. I have faith in your ability to watch this and do the same should you be blessed with the opportunity to save little lives.
Put the babies in a small warm place like a box with a blanket, shirt, jacket something to keep them warm until you can get them to a Wildlife Rehabber. Please don't try to feed them, just keep them warm and get them to a rehabber.
If you don't know of any wildlife rehabbers, PM me and I'll find someone to help you.
If it's an emergency pm me I'll find the nearest person to you. If i don't reply, by all means phone. 860-267-9699.
On behalf of the opossums you'll help save.......
THANK YOU!!!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
