Never in all my days have I seen a guinea pig with such long hair. How fabulous is Twix?!
Twix came in for a bath and nails and a coat shaping!

If anyone has any towels they planned to donate, and wanna bring by the shop we are completely out.

It’s entirely my(Taylor) fault, I’ve been preoccupied with Buddy and fell behind on laundry. There’s only two more appointments left so 4 towels would be plenty.

Yeah someone adopt him before we do 🥹
The nail trim was WORK but he lovvveedddddd his medicated bath, seeing him melt into the warm water and soothing meds on his very needy skin… Just one of the 17394747 reasons we love the Pay for a Stray program.

Asher needs some grooming and TLC and this is exactly the kind of thing this fund covers!
Our followers sent us their post and we coordinated to get him here right away.

Though that fund it is empty right now we never turn down a stray/rescue in need of care.

From the grooming table at Hund Haus 🛁🐾

Meet Mac, our newest client and the newest rescue intake at The Safe Haus that we had the honor of grooming today.

Mac came to us after his owner entered hospice care and needed someone to step in for him. And we want to be very clear about one thing right away… this boy was loved. 💛

He was not in terrible shape at all. No neglect here. He just needed:
• a good scrubbing
• a tidy up
• a nail trim

And he did wonderfully for his very first groom with us. Calm, sweet, and so trusting. Exactly the kind of dog that reminds us why we do what we do.

We could not resist putting him in a little Christmas seeater and snapping a few photos of him because honestly… look at him. 🎄✨

Mac is the perfect example of what our Pay for a Stray Grooming Program exists for. Sometimes dogs do not need saving from bad situations. Sometimes they just need continuity, dignity, and care during a really hard transition.

Thank you to everyone who supports this program and helps us make sure dogs like Mac land softly when life changes suddenly.
