One of our rescue fosters will need to have some recently discovered cancerous tumors removed and this fundraiser will help with some of the cost. We’ll post more details about the surgery next week.

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

We hope everyone has a fun and safe day celebrating ... but please think of your pet’s safety especially today!

More pets run away/go missing on July 4th than any other day and sadly, many get injured and some never return home. 😭

So be prepared and make sure your pets are INSIDE, SAFE and SECURE long before any firework celebrations start!

And consider forgoing outdoors firework celebrations … stay home, pop popcorn and watch them on TV with your pets instead!

Get your pets ready for Pet Night with Santa this week at La Palmera! 🐾🎅🏻🐾

Starting this week! 🐶🎅🏼 Pet lovers can bring their favorite fur baby for “Pet Night with Santa” held Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Nov. 29 and 30, and Dec. 6, 7, 13 and 14 from 5:30–8:30 p.m. in Center Court. Only dogs and cats are permitted and all animals must remain on a leash or in a carrier at all times.

This week, we will be joined by Mission Pawsible Animal Assistance.

Walk-ups are welcome, but guests also may pre-purchase their photo package and reserve a time with a SnapPass clicking the link below.

Last weekend we had to take Sasha in to the Emergency Vet due to a severe allergic reaction she had … she developed hives all over, and started vomiting and showing signs of going into anaphylactic shock once at the ER (weak pulse/pale gums).

They rushed her back for exams (including an ultrasound) and started her on IV fluids & medications. After several hours, her vitals improved and she was stable enough to go home, with continued medications & monitoring. 🙏🏼

We are still not sure what caused it (possible insect bite) but thankfully she is doing well.
