Animal RescueShelter at Houston Texax

Hello From Houston TX Pets Alive Location Update. I wanted to share the areas, I am in charge of: Quarintine, (upper respiratory infections, distemper, suspected Parvo, etc) and decompression or "quiet area" for dogs who may be pregnant and delivering soon and for dogs who are "shut down" because of the trauma they have been through and are truely scared almost to death. This area is in the back of the wharehouse and believe it or not is quieter than out in the general population. Enjoy!

Sorry this is so late, over 300 intakes today. Up at 5AM and you see what time I'm posting. I need rest. I would kill for a new pair of walking shoes. So far I have gone thru 3pair, but they smell so bad, can't wear again. Now this:. Big blisters.

I am terribly sleep deprived, having had only 2-4 hours a night. I wanted to share my home away from home. Complete with a "honey pot"! So if my talking doesn't make much sense. It will after I get a good night's rest. Sleep well all.
