I’m back....we’ll just for this post. I have a neuroma in my left foot. I will be having foot surgery 11/29.

Update on my foot- so I have to get an MRI to see exactly what is going on. Orthopedic dr thinks it’s sesamoid fracture. No exercise and back to a walking boot is ideal wants my foot to be immobile if possible. Depends on results but anticipated another foot surgery in early September. Not the best news today definitely missing the horses these days.

Horses let us know that equine massage therapy may do them some good in a variety of ways. Some of the signals that your horse may need a little help are:
• Shortening of stride
• Difficulty bending laterally or rounding
• Refusal to take a particular lead or change gaits
• General stiffness
• Aggravated movement, such as head tossing, bucking or kicking
• Hollowing out their back
• Tracking unevenly
• Girthing problems

Winston had his second massage by Melaina Peevler today. She was spot on in her initial evaluation of his over all body condition. A knot that he has at the top of his shoulder has subsided and he is moving much more freely. He thoroughly enjoys it! Thank you Melaina!
