We are a CFA registered cattery, we are PKD, FeLV, and FIP negative. After enduring the untimely death of my beloved husband and my 13 year-old son's beloved father, along with enduring the untimely death of a long-time cattery friend, it has been a rough road for the past 2 years. We have recently moved in order to settle my son and I closer to family members after our crisis, and are finally to
a point in our lives when we are ready to begin again with Honey Kisses. I am very delighted about reopening, as is my son, who is Honey Kisses' main man in charge of socializing our cats and kittens with heavy play times! Presently we have a wonderful female in a solid black ESH and intend to purchase another queen later this year for our program in a flashy calico or bi color. We do not house males where we are, since we intend to stay very small offering more quality than quantity. We have a cattery friend that lives near us who has a wonderful black and white bi color Persian stud for our female/s. Both our stud and female carry choc and lilac with my female being a first generation carrier. Therefore, we presently can have chocolates, lilacs, blacks, blues, and those colors with white. In the future it is my aspiration to incorporate OE bi's as well as green and blue eyed bi's into my program, which has always been my most desired dream. Hurricane Katrina did quite a number on taking out many CFA show opportunities in our area, but we have high hopes they will eventually return. However, we have high hopes in showing the second queen we acquire in Louisiana next March. My present queen, Moonhalo, who is 1.5 years of age now, is expecting her first litter at the end of May 2013. We are currently taking a waiting list that is growing quite rapidly. We have high aspirations for this queen and her future at Honey Kisses as her dam was a great mom and consistent with 6-kitten litters. So, please pray for us and our queen in order that she may make kitten dreams come true for those who are also in as much love with this breed as we are! Thank you for visiting my page, and please participate. We look forward to meeting and acquainting ourselves with new cattery friends, and reacquainting with cattery friends from the past.
