We had another adoption and another foster fail! 🎉🎉🎉

Little Huey, the young 5 month old Chihuahua with the bad leg, found his forever home with his fosters 🩷

He will still be heading in to surgery this coming Monday where we will either surgically correct or amputate the leg-but either way we know his future is in the best hands with his new mom and dad and fur family!

Yay for sweet Didi!!! Her fosters haven’t had her for long, but it was love at first sight 🥰 so Didi officially foster failed today with her foster mom and dad Hollye and Brian (who also happen to be available Tidbit’s fosters)!

CONGRATS DIDI! 🎉🎉🎉 We know you’ll be spoiled rotten! And you can keep Tidbit company until he finds his forever home!

This looks like just a simple pic of a cute Hound captured while he was hanging out in the doorway.

But this pic is so much more.

This pic symbolizes the freedom that Karo now has to choose whether to be inside or out. That seems like such a run of the mill inconsequential choice every being has. But Karo did not. For the first twelve years of his life he lived it trapped locked in a closet. So for him to have the freedom to stand in a doorway and choose inside or out? That is monumental for him. 🩷

CONGRATS to our super anxious little breeder dog with the hernias, Tinker, whose adoption was finalized with her new moms Bridget and Mary! Tinker was adopted by her human foster sister’s teacher at school so they still get to hear about her all the time! We love that so much!

Puppy Huey had his surgical consult this morning at Nashville Veterinary Specialists and Animal Emergency and we are definitely moving forward with surgery happening next Monday. We need to get some additional X-rays done before we decide which way to go to best help him but meanwhile he is such a trooper and is doing great! We’ll keep you posted!

We pulled little Chi Didi from Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control last week and she is settling in so nicely with her fosters! She is sharing Tidbit’s foster and he’ll be more than happy to play with her and help her lose the few pounds she needs to lose to be a healthy 6 year old girl.

Poor Didi’s human passed away and she was terrified at the shelter but seems to be opening up quickly with the love of her new foster family 🩷

Picked up this little 6 month old girl Phoebe from Williamson County Animal Center yesterday and took her straight to Nashville Veterinary Specialists and Animal Emergency to have her fracture leg checked out and good news! She doesn’t have to have surgery! At least not yet! The bad news for this goofy, silly, 100% puppy is that she will be on crate rest for at least four weeks so that won’t be any fun!

Cosmo did great at at his checkup at the vet today! His skin looks soooo much better and his infections have cleared up-yay! Good job to his fosters! ✨

He does have a wart next to his eye we are going to have removed the first part of February but he is officially ready to find his forever family! 🩷

Picked up sweet Karo today and we can’t wait to see him blossom! He has already come so far since being at MACC as you can see-and we can’t wait to keep up their good work!

Karo is a 12 year old Hound who was kept locked in a closet all day and night. And when he was let “out” he was locked in a crate which was covered in urine and f***s. But you wouldn’t know it from his gentle, sweet spirit 🩷 He will just lean in to you and just wants all the pets you’ll give him-and then some. And he deserves them all!

Karo will need to be vetted and neutered when he is healthy enough so stay tuned for more info!
