Sharon and Hailey Woods come from and compete against a long line of prestigous riders that intertwine through barrel racing, rodeo, and gymkana events.

Between the two, they have competed in BRN4D, WPRA, NPRA, AW4D, Necessity Invitational Challenge of Champions, NW5D, W.H.O., OBRA, OHSET, 4H and ProRodeo. Both have trained numerous horses that have competed and won. Huga's Loaded Gun is Sharon's current barrel horse, that was patterned by Hailey, finished by Sharon, and is now on her way up to the winner's circle. Sharon has trained many horses

and has perfected her style to match that of the athletic equine. Ima Doc Bar Pepper is Hailey's barrel horse, he himself has competed with the best of them on the Pro Circuit. Pepper has many awards, title's, and money earned sitting behind his name. Glenn Woods is the husband and father to this dynamic dou, his massage techniques help balance the horse and help both equine and human meet their highest potiential. Sharon and Hailey offer monthly training, group lessons, private lessons (individualized instruction on problem areas). This is how I spend my Thanksgiving, quiet time in the barn cleaning stalls and taking care of the horses. It’s become my own tradition. I take my time and go stall to stall. I thank God for the horse in that stall and the people they brought with them.

God has used horses in our life in extraordinary ways. The lives he has touched through our horses and their stories, are so special. Our lives have been enriched by the amazing people that have came into our life, by horses.

21 stalls filled full of talented, athletic, well bred horses. But so much more than that; 21 stalls filled with horses that are loved as part of the family, with bellies full of cookies and noses filled with kisses.

I wouldn’t trade this Thanksgiving tradition for a thing.

This past September; I had the pleasure of training a nine year old thoroughbred gelding, who had a long racing career. He was a challenge to convert to a nice western riding horse; but I am pleased how we came together in the end!

This photo brings me so much joy! Lucy & Britney ❤️

I LOVE breeding and creating new life. I have had so much joy out of breeding, breaking and training my own babies.

I dreamed for years of this and now it’s coming true! The mamas are treated like Queens, fed as natural as possible, cleansed out with herbs during pregnancy and given ample amount of love. I have been lucky enough to assist and be involved in every birth. The babies are handled from the moment they are born. Halter broke by 2 weeks and discover life in a big pasture with their mama. By the time they are weaned they haul, listen to voice cues, tie up, are good with their feet and can be bathed. Handling them at a young age, makes the rest of their life and training so much easier! The world is not a scary place for them - it’s a curious adventure!

When they are big enough and their mind is ready, then they are broke. There is not an age requirement, I want them to last a long time and be strong & healthy. When they need breaks, they get them! I train at thier speed, keeping their mind fresh and excited for the next ride.

I have loved creating this program and can’t wait to see what it turns into in the next decade. I have two babies on their way for 2026, only one will be for sale 😇

Happy day! We have known the Baker family for awhile and adore them!

One month ago, Hailey assisted Virginia in the sale of her mare and then started to look for her next horse. We didn’t realize that he was already in Sharon’s barn!

Dealer is a special guy - a once in a million - do anything you ask - super honest - meet you at the gate - love you with his whole heart - kind of guy.

Virginia and Dealer proved they were the perfect match, when on their FIRST jackpot run together; Dealer won Virginia her FIRST check!!!

We are so excited to watch them grow as a team and continue checking off bucket list items! Dealer is a happy guy with his new best friend! 🥹

My heart is so full ❤️ The past two weeks have been Kids Camp and Jr JTMR. What an amazing time filled with teaching these great kids horsemanship, life lessons and about God. I was blown away by their desire to work hard and learn who Jesus is. We had a few moments I will never forget! Shoutout to the parents and families who support me and choose me to train and teach their kids ❤️

Every now and then I like to mix the young kids in with the older kids for a group lesson. Tonight was so good! It warms my heart to watch the older ones take the younger ones under their wings, helping them and cheering them on. Tonight was good ❤️
