About Us
Sonoran Sun Aviaries is located in Decatur Texas. We are a small private closed aviary. This way we can give our birds the quality care and attention they deserve. We are proud of our breeding stock and each is in full feather and great health.
Each new bird we bring to our facility is quarantined and tested before introducing to our aviary area or a new mate.
We currently breed the True Greater Sulfur Crested Cockatoo, Rose Breasted Cockatoos, Blue Headed Macaws, Severe Macaws, Hahns Macaws, and Golden Conures.
All of our babies that are NOT going to be used for breeding are hand fed. Some eggs are incubated and fed from day one depending on the species and if they are going to be good parents. All babies are brought into our home for the love, bonding and attention they will need to become well adjusted companions.
