Happy 8th Bithday, Katie! Our Katie (Wilma), the mother of all our pups, turned eight today! And to celebrate (or prove she isn’t old?) she did something she’s never done before. She ran over half a mile across the field, chasing a coyote in broad daylight (we rarely see then during the day). I was pretty worried, believe me! But she recalled in the nick of time and she’s safe and sound.

All of the puppies from our 2023 litter have found their forever homes!
Each litter is exciting and fun, with lots of laughs and snuggles, a lot of work, and also sadness when we have to say goodbye.
Once again we got to meet so many wonderful people!
Thanks everyone for the pictures and updates you’ve sent us of the puppies!
Here’s a picture of the 2023 litter on September 20th. Valentine’s Day was yesterday, I know, but our dogs love us, and we love them, every day!

Spot is our very last puppy! He is 33 pounds already and is a nice pal to have around! But he needs his very own family, his own jobs, and more one on one training as he matures. He is extremely biddable (more so than his mom😏), likes to snuggle, and is a dog that bonds deeply w his owners. He loves his family but is protective when strangers come on the property. He is ok but shy, when off property and visiting new places. He is familiar w our cats, sheep, and free ranging chickens. Familiar w children and their antics. He has had his first two sets of shots and will be ready for his rabies shot soon.

Purebred and registered English Shepherd Puppies.
Here on Fair Lawn Farm in Nora Illinois, Spot and Lida Rose are patiently waiting for their forever homes. The last two puppies from our fall litter born on 9.2.23, they are ready to bond with her new families and learn their new jobs! This is our third letter between Granges Regal Rascoe and Dykstra’s Evening Song Wilma.

Spot is a seal and white male. He tags around with us in our property and he will alert us when someone arrives or something is amiss. He’s a bit cautious at first with new people but quickly warms up and loves to snuggle and look at you with his soulful doggy eyes. He will flourish best if he has someone who he can especially bond with.

Lida Rose is a clear stable and white female. She is confident and acclimates quickly to new things and locations, being happy go lucky and quick to learn.

Both pups are crate trained, have had their first and second shots, have daily contact with the sheep, cats, chickens, and children. They have visited multiple locations off our property and tag along with us on our daily farm chores. They have been raised with so much love💗
