CHRISTIAN LEE CLEVEN-CORWIN, 37, was convicted by jury on July 10, 2024, of 30 counts of felony animal abuse.
In October 2022, a deputy sheriff was dispatched to investigate a dog bite that allegedly occurred on the Lassen County portion of an Adin address. Four individuals were charged with 32 counts of felony animal abuse. One subject was not held to answer after a preliminary hearing, another subject is currently out on a warrant.
CLEVEN-CORWIN and co-defendant JESSICA WICK were both scheduled for trial July 8; Wick did not appear and a warrant was issued for her arrest. The trial proceeded against Mr. Cleven-Corwin resulting in the 30 felony convictions. Sentencing will be scheduled for a date in September.
